Dr. Maggie is amazing (runs her center with complete professionalism- teaches are great, children like to attend (that alone says the center is awesome!)).

Mathnasium is a terrific experience - the kids have fun, practice math they have learned in school, and learn new math that stretches them beyond the public and private schools. The teachers are exceptionally supportive and attentive to the kids. Mathnasium is wonderful. I wish Mathnasium existed when I was in elementary school.

My daughter hated math and was really struggling at school, but she loved Mathnasium and never complained about going. The teachers there made it fun and she was motivated by the rewards/incentives they offered her. She even went on weekends and during the summer! She got very excited about wearing her "I heart MA+h!" T-shirt when she went, and always told me who she saw from her school when she was there. I really appreciated the fact that she had the same counselor/teacher almost every time so they developed a relationship and she knew her needs and personality.
We really appreciated all the feedback and reports from Mathnasium too - it made it really easy to communicate with our teachers and tutors about how our daughter was doing and make adjustments to help her succeed in school.
Her math skills and scores improved over the course of the year; though she still has trouble in math, she definitely has increased in confidence and doesn't quit when she's challenged like she used to. She is now in 5th grade at a private school and currently making a B in math, where before she was in public school and struggling to make 2's.

We have nothing but wonderful things to say about Maggie and all the tutors at this Mathnasium!! Both of my boys started at the beginning of the summer, coming 4 days a week when we were in town and they were VERY nervous about starting let alone coming so often. BUT they do not complain about coming, have a great rapport with the teachers and we are seeing nice gains!!
We will be continuing through the school year and I'm excited to see how the teachers will be able to assist with homework and boost not only their skills but their resilience and confidence with Math!
We have done the summer program for my son which has been wonderful. It has helped him gain confidence and stay "fresh" for the upcoming school year and set my mind at ease that he is getting the help he needs to move forward without having to shoulder that responsibility myself.
