I like that there is no extra homework assigned. I also like that if they are proficient in an area you move on rather than have them continue to repeat what they already know. Being able to take their school homework is helpful if they are not understanding a concept that may not have been covered as yet by Mathnasium.

My girls LOVE Mathnasium! The program motivates them and stretches them to think beyond our school district curriculum to apply math practically throughout day to day activities. We could not be more pleased with the South Barrington Mathnasium program!
My son struggled with 4th grade math in school so we started bringing him 3 times a week to Mathnasium. Within a week, his school grades were improving and he looked forward to working with the great staff at the South Barrington location. Great experience overall!

Nick helped my son more in one session than his math teachers have been able to in three years. He listens and responds to my son's questions and tailors the instruction to his needs. My son has always been able to understand math concepts but not put them into practice-something was missing. After just 4 sessions with Nick he got his first A on a test in three years and he likes math again! Thank you so much.

My daughter has shown so much more confidence in the month that she's been going to Mathnasium. She asks to go as many times as possible, and clearly enjoys her time there. I can see a clear difference towards her feelings on Math.
My daughter has learned a lot in the few weeks she has been going to Mathnasium and she enjoys going. It is not a "chore" for her to go and she likes earning the incentives.
My daughter loved going to Mathnarsium, and always said that the "teachers" there were really nice and helpful. Before Mathnasium, we had many tearful evenings at the kitchen table when she was struggling to understand her math homework. Thanks to Mathnasium, she got the extra help that she needed, and is now doing much better, with significantly improved test scores.
