We like that our daughter goes at her own pace. She does not advance until a skill is mastered, not due to the calendar.

The owner was willing to do an alternative program no questions asked as our son has special needs. The instructors on site went out of their way to connect with our son and were accepting of me, as the parent, being present to help guide our son and his work as his para. Due to scheduling issues, we were not able to make it in and the owner, all on his own without communication with us, was very kind and stopped the payments seeing as how we didn’t make it in even before I called to cancel. The conversation to cancel was very kind and the owner even graciously offered a plan for us to consider as things settle down in our family. From the times my son was in session, he was learning! I really felt like his confidence and interest in doing math was growing and I could tell every session we went home, our son felt good about his work. This was especially important to us for the shortened day our son was on and not having formal math instruction. We plan to continue as we can afford it and our schedule allows. Thank you so much for a great service and such great kindness!

This was our first summer using mathenasium. Faith enjoyed the experience and never complained in going. She enjoyed her time working on math. In the past she did not enjoy math. She enjoys it now. The way they taught her math made sense to her. She scored very high on the math part on the standardized test this fall. I contribute that to mathnasium. We tried Sylvan and did not have a good experience. Their agenda was not the same as ours. Our daughter was not happy going there. The atmosphere at Mathnasium is much more comfortable for her and she actually enjoys going. They are always helpful with any homework questions as well as helping he master other skills.

My son was having trouble with math at the end of second grade. I could not get him to work on math with me at home, however the teachers at mathnasium had clever ways of teaching math. Using a deck of cards, for example, really helped him with addition. He was mastering concepts at an amazing rate at Mathnasium!
