We encouraged our daughter to try the advanced math track in middle school, and she really struggled with it. There were many nights of tears. I did my research and decided that the curriculum at Mathnasium was worth more than a local tutor. Neetha and her team were great at scheduling and communicating with me as we started a really convenient, on-line program. The tutor, Zuriah, won my daughter's trust by being caring and moving at the right pace. I had high expectations of results and they were honestly well exceeded. I was surprised how quickly my daughters confidence increased. It was gratifying to see her motivation and happiness jump too. In the end she moved from struggling to get a B in math, to straight As this entire year. After scoring in 50th percentile range on state tests, she recently moved into the 70th range. It wasn't cheap to do Mathnasium but it was worth the sacrifice. Thank you Neetha and Zuriah!
Math is a fundamental skill. To be not only competent but confident in math is crucial to success in testing, getting into college and many college courses.

My son has learned to love math! This, after crying and throwing fits over it in the fall before he started at Mathnasium. He went from get 2s and 3s on this math quizzes (out of five) to 4s and 5s consistently. I highly recommend Mathnasium if your child is struggling in math. It has really turned things around for us.
My kids love it! The instructors are nice and engaging and make math enjoyable.
Our son was able to get help with geometry while struggling with this subject. He finally started to feel good about himself and build confidence in his abilities to tackle this subject.
My daughters grades have improved, her understanding of concepts has improved, and she has earned a few “prizes”, which is fun to her! I appreciate that the tutors at Mathnasium complete her school homework with her during her appointments, and I also appreciate that there’s no “take home” Mathnasium work during the week!

My son likes math and with pandemic and all the challenges teachers are facing, the pace wasn’t engaging him. He asked to try MATHNASIUM that his other 13 year old friends had gone to over summer. I thought I was dreaming and explained to him he would be doing math, not playing games. He said he knew and wanted to go... since starting about 4 months ago - his Algebra teacher at school has asked to work with our son to put him in an accelerated individualized program since he is understanding and working problems in advance of this other classmates. She (his school teacher ) is also very excited to have the program plan and his monthly assessments to customize his in school learning.
That makes his parents happy... but the best thing is watching him hurry home from school, quickly eat a snack and tell me to hurry so he won’t be late.
Love how the tutoring is structured and how successful and excited he feels about going.

Neetha and the staff at Mathnasium are amazing at creating an engaging math atmosphere. They do not teach for the sake of tests, they teach to intrinsically motivate kids about numbers and how to understand math processes. My child no longer “shuts down” when faced with a challenging equation, she has gained skills that allow her to at least attempt a complex problem with confidence. I love that most the tutors are also kids (teenagers/college age). I think it instills in the younger children that it’s cool to learn and offers better insight to the world of math
