My daughter struggled with math and reached a point in 5th grade where she had tears when she had to figure out a math problem. She would develop such anxiety and low self-esteem that she would shut down and not be able to work through the program. In just 6 months, Mathnasium helped her to not only become confident, but also excel in her 6th grade math class and she ranked math as one of her top two favorite classes (among many favorites)!

Our children have been attending Mathnasium Hillsborough for the last 3 years. They have fun while learning foundational math skills. Our daughter used to struggle with math and now excels. We came in so drained, frustrated, and starting to feel like a failure for we just couldn't get a grip on the first few weeks of the school year. After going to extra help giving up lunches and looking for a tutor we found Mathnasium. After the first week our daughter was happy again, understanding her lessons, feeling on top of the world. The people working here are awesome and believe in her. The teacher wanted her to drop the class to a lower level here they did not, they helped her be the best she could be in math. We are all so happy and she is happy going. Thank you Mathnasium for giving her the gift of math and not giving up on her like her teacher.
Mathnasium in Hillsborough, NJ. Is a place for children to nurture their confidence with Mathematics. It provided my son a new way to approach Math and find a way to make it enjoyable by relieving the anxiety and fear of Math that so many children face.

Mathnasium is a wonderful program!
You should encourage kids to ask more questions. They should feel unthreatened and unembarrassed to ask as many questions as possible without being shown signs of exasperation. I could be wrong,, but most of the kids appear to sit quietly and do their work without interacting too much with their teachers.
I would have given a 10 if I had seen this interaction.
Ability to adapt to the child's needs is a key strength. I also don't see a burnout effect with my daughter. She wants to go and it's never a need to push by the parent.
My daughter was becoming "math averse". I wanted her to learn to embrace math since she will, like it or not, have to deal with it throughout her school career. After some significant protesting, she agreed to go and in just a few sessions I saw her confidence grow. Now that school is back in session, I have already seen an improvement in her grade and her attitude about the subject is much more positive.
We really like Mr. Fung and the tutors at our location. They are what make Mathnasium at Hillsborough so great.

My daughter's confidence in her math skills has improved significantly since coming here.
My daughter has always struggled with Math and has been a student at Mathnasium, intermittently, for a few years. She has gained confidence and security in her math knowledge and really likes going to tutoring here.
At first my daughter did not want to this at all!!!! After the very first lesson and after every lesson, she thanks me for asking her to try this. She is feeling more confident as the weeks go by. Her grade has slightly increased. She is very comfortable with her private tutor. I wish I had the means to keep this going.

Hillsborough Mathnasium teachers are helping my daughter understand basic math concepts. They give regular feedback on her progress. The coursework is designed as per each child's level and teachers give individual attention to each child.

So far it has been great. My daughter likes it. However, I'm yet to see any improvement in her grade.
