Builds Math confidence in a supportive environment.
My daughter Grace really enjoys going to Mathnasium. Grace finds math extremely challenging and I have noticed she is more confident and excited about math since joining Mathnasium only a few months ago.
She really likes the teachers and finds them very attentive and helpful. And Barindra, the owner is very helpful, responsive and accommodating.
Grace also loves the selection of prizes the students can pick from when they finish a level and Barindra and the team have even 'held' certain items for Grace that she really covets until she finishes a level. This is so thoughtful, kind and very much appreciated.
I definitely recommend Mathnasium to others whose kids are really challenged by math.
A little pricey but it’s crazy that my daughter actually Looks forward to it! At 9 years old! We were in Kumon before and it was unfortunately a very poor experience. It would be nice to actually see what they are working on monthly or so. I can tell when I quiz her on certain things she is learning the proper foundations of math!
Very flexible with availability to meet the needs of our family. My daughter has a great connection with all the staff and enjoys going there. They also have an incentive program to keep the students motivated. There is no homework with both parents and students appreciate as we all have busy lives.
Great resource to help my son improve and understand the math principals
My son is in grade 8 and has been with Mathnasium since grade 1. We have always seen the benefits but are now seeing the huge advantage of having built on concepts and layering of information all these years. My son is able to move forward with confidence as he completes two grades of math in one semester. He would never have been able to do that without having solidified concepts along the journey.
My daughter loves Math just because of Mathnasium. She is very confident now and says Math is her favorite subject. Ms. Barindra is very helpful and always adjusts the schedule whenever needed. The tutors go above and beyond to help and make math fun for kids.

Amazing education strategies!
We tried another math tutoring centre before mathnasium. It was a nightmare. What a night and day difference switching to this program. My daughter not only enjoys herself and looks forward to going, but learning math in this way has enhanced her understanding and confidence. From the style of learning, to the student reward systems, it all works amazingly well to keep learning interesting. Much different than the rote learning required in other math programs. With mathnasium, the kids learn an understanding of math, not just memorization. I am so happy we switched to this program.
To date they are very professional and dynamic in their approach to my sons continued success in Math
We are so pleased with our daughter's progress with respect to math in 4 months, particularly the increase in confidence in her own ability. She truly enjoyed going and always came back with good things to say about Barindra and her staff and how good they were. She would show us her new "skills" and spent time convincing her sister that "math is fun!"

I first contacted Mathnasium during the pandemic when school was shut down, as I had wanted my kids to work on math so they didn't get behind, but when I gave them age appropriate lessons online, I was shocked how far behind they were. I wondered where the school system was failing them, and took them to Mathnasium for an assessment. Sure enough both were a few grades behind which was extra scary as one was about to start Grade 8 - high school math! We immediately signed up for classes, and after a few months the progress that they were making was very clear. It is a bit pricey, but I feel completely worth it, if you are wanting your kids to have success in school. I think this is something that i will keep both of my kids in until they graduate high school! Trying to teach your kids at home is stressful, and nerve wracking. Mathnasium has been great for us, and I highly recommend this for all kids that need some extra help. :)
The tutors have been great working with Jocelyn and her math is really improving, along with her confidence!

Mathnasium has always been a great summer support for my kids. But during the pandemic it was my best decision to sign up, it has a excellent classroom set up which gave the children a structure not just for Maths but to keep a discipline in their everyday life. I wish schools adopt their classroom program for online learning.
Barindra is very accommodating and runs her program seamlessly. Our kids are happy to go (online and in-person) and we have seen a noticeable improvement in their Math skills.
