My son attended Mathnasium after school, 3 times a week. He was very behind in math (remote learning during our Covid stay at home order played a big part in his falling behind). When he took his assessment, he scored at a high Kindergarten level when he was already in second grade. His teacher and us ( his parents) were very concerned, and started to do our research about the best math tutoring centers. Mathnasium was highly recommended. My son started tutoring mid November of 2021, and in March of 2022 he had already advanced his math skills to a First grade level. This change was also noticed by his teacher and test scores went from a 30% to 95%. We were all thrilled but the one person who was the most happy and proud of himself was my son. His confidence boosted and he was now helping his peers that were struggling to understand math concepts.

Mathnasium have a great program of tutoring and a great group of instructors, but you have to be patient to get a good results.

Mathnasium is great. My son loves it. He improved a lot. They teach maths through fun. Faculty is awesome. They respect everyone. We had nice experience with Mathnasium. My son is missing it.
My son was struggling with math and lost his confidence in class. After several months of working with the team at Mathnasium, my son wants to go to school to show off his math skills. Mathnasium changed my son's outlook on learning and himself. He knows now that he can do it... With a little help from friends.

It really helped my daughter become confident in her ability to solve math problems. Before coming to Mathnasium she would just shut down when it came to math. Now she is more open to asking questions and working towards solving the problems.
My daughter dislikes schoolwork and doesn't see the value in it - she struggles with math, reading and writing and has always been quiet and unengaged in class. Homework is a battleground and she is not even interested in having books read to her. In the 12 sessions that she has had at Mathnasium her school teachers have noticed a marked improvement in her math and also in her reading and writing. This has been attributed to greater self esteem and confidence, and I strongly believe that this has been a consequence of realizing that she is capable. We delayed tutoring because we thought that it would add to her 'school-stress' but she actually enjoys attending Mathnasium. She likes "feeling smarter", and seeing older children there appeals to her. The instructors are young, patient and friendly which for a shy and easily intimidated child is very important. It has been a great unexpected bonus to see all areas of her school work improve as she has progressed with Mathnasium, and I believe that her overall school anxiety has been greatly reduced. I expect her to achieve grade level very soon, and I am looking forward to seeing what she can achieve. My son will also be starting at Mathnasium to solidify his math skills. Lastly, as a parent who over-schedules after school activities it has been very convenient to be able to drop in to Mathnasium as and when we can depending on sports activities and homework. I recommend Mathnasium to everyone who will listen :)
