My daughter really got the one on one help she needed when she didn't understand something. Her math teacher at school didn't ever seem to be available for students to ask questions, but at Mathnasium they really made time to go over the problems my daughter was struggling with.
We are very pleased with our experience at mathnasium and would absolutely refer anyone looking to reinforce their math skills. I do have one minor criticism and that is rewarding the students with sugar laden treats. That kind of sweet reward is sending the wrong message. Childhood obesity has reached epidemic levels and sugar is leading that charge.
My son struggles with math and his focus at school. It has created a situation where he expects to fail. Mathnasium has created an environment in which my son looks forward to going and gets a sense of pride and accomplishment every time he leaves. I highly recommend Mathnasium to any parent whose child is struggling in school.

Ever since my daughter attended Mathnasium, she has been maintaining an A's average in math. In a short time, she got her confidence back in math while having fun at the same time! . Unlike some other math learning centers, Mathnasium tailors to each student's level, therefore, the help my daughter receives is like one on one basis. The staff are very nice and always available to assist. My daughter loves Mathnasium and always look forward to come. I highly recommend Mathnasium to any kid of any grade level because it just makes math so much more fun to learn.
It's a great place where kids can feel comfortable asking for help at all levels & knowing that there are other kids just like them that need a little TLC when it comes to learning Math.

My daughter struggled with math in 5th grade. The new director who is also the owner make sure my daughter gets help with daily homework from school and preps her tests by printing out additional pages to help her review. She accommodates the individual kids' needs and gave my daughter the confidence that math does not have to be a struggle. My daughter is now in 7th grade and is having a great start so far.

My daughter has always been a good student but after Mathnasium her confidence in her math skills progressed immensely. She was almost a grade ahead before Mathnasium and now thanks to Mathnasium she is 2 years ahead in math. The other day her school teacher video taped her teaching the other students a math problem they did in class. My husband and I are very proud of our daughter but am truly grateful to Mathnasium too. I really appreciate the director because I feel we really connected because she is a mom and she really cares for the students. I use to be there almost every day waiting for my daughter and I can see how Ms. Marlene interacts with the kids and takes care of her facility. I really like all the teachers. They have been very friendly to my daughter and she tells me about them too. If people ask me, I freely share our Mathnasium experience and now 2 of my daughter's friends attend the Tustin location where we have been attending over a year, including the 2 summers. I highly recommend this location if you feel your child is either struggling or you want your child to excel in math. It is definitely worth trying.
My son joined during the mathnasium summer program 2017 - he enjoyed it, so we decided to continue now that the school year started back again and he has improved lots. It takes Baby steps - he had his first math test and big improvement, so i'm very happy for him. His hard work is paying off. Staff is very kid friendly and makes them welcome!
I was extremely happy with the progress my son made in a very short time. He was a bit resistant to the idea at first but after he started to understand concepts and do better on tests and quizzes he was much more receptive to going. I have and continue to highly recommend Mathnasium of Tustin to friends.
