Our granddaughter, now 19 and a college student, experienced an incredible learning experience during her middle school and high school years in the professional, comfortable, relaxing and excellent teaching environment of Mathnasium. Throughout high school she was in the National Honor Society, and a top student at graduation. There is no doubt that would not have happened but for Mathnasium.
Now, her younger brother entering the 11th grade, has followed her footsteps. He was failing math totally in middle school when he began quickly learning and LOVING math. As his sister did, once he began Mathnasium, he has never stopped, and he even attends classes through summer. He is a stellar student in all his classes, plans to continue through high school in this program. I believe both grandchildren learned more than math: they have found patience in learning more than just passing tests, but most importantly discovered joy and satisfaction in "discovering" WHAT MATH IS. Mathnasium has been crucial in the development of solid in self-confidence in both our grandchildren. I highly recommend you give it a try.

The Inverness location is by far a much better experience than we had in Mountain Brook. We get constant feedback from the owner and instructors. Our daughter is thriving at the Inverness location.

Mathnasium is the answer to provide kids who have trouble learning in math, or fall behind, or who desire to excel in math at school. Our two grandkids were literally brought from failing math to all A's in math on their report cards. The oldest, our granddaughter even began taking college math classes in high school that influenced her college scholarship applications! Her younger brother is a high school junior who is acing math every year since he began studying at Mathnasium. It changed him from struggling to bring up his failing math grade when he began middle school, to meeting his personal goal of straight A's on his grade reports. Better than that, he enjoys and says he LOVES math. What more could we ask? Mathnasium knows how to accomplish the job of helping kids learn to learn math while they learn to enjoy it, too.

The pandemic reactions caused deep academic holes to be dug by students and the struggle to dig out has been difficult. The attention to the needs of the student make the time spent in session efficient, effective, and encouraging for my child.

When students encounter unexpected needs to adjust schedules, it is a no-stress, pleasant experience to have scheduling needs met for the best solution for my students.
It is also a blessing that the Mathnasium sites in a convenient, safe area with easy parking. We’ve been sending grandkids there for almost 9 years.

My daughter improved so much with Mathnasium! She went from a “gracious” 80 with all kinds of stress, to a 92, with no stress! She still doesn’t “love” math, but it is no longer a huge stress and with that and the grade improvement, it is a total win. They have alway been in communication with her teacher and knew exactly what to work on. The best investment we have made!!

Great Instructors, and I have never found such accommodating assistance with scheduling. The children LOVE to go there, and we love that Mathnasium provides the perfect open classroom environment that provides results over and beyond our expectations.

He steadily began learning and LOVING math. He not only brought his math grade up to "A" during his first year in Mathnasium, now in his 5th year of the program, he consistently makes all "A's" on his grade reports. He attends summer classes, which not only continues his progress in math, but has helped him acquire a desire to excel in all of his classes and increased his self-confidence greatly.
