We've been very happy whit Marissa's progress, She ended Grade 6 with an A when she was struggling mid year. She's much more confident with her math skills and the arguing about math homework is complete gone!

I think Mathnasium is great! I have 2 concerns, however. I wish they opened earlier in the summer (earlier than 2:00) and that they weren’t so expensive.

We brought our son over to Mathnasium not because he was necessarily struggle in math but because he was given an opportunity to skip a year of algebra his freshman year of high school and in doing so he missed out on some vital "building blocks" that are necessary in the AP algebra 2 class that he was placed in. Mathnasium set him up with a program that would cover the fundamentals that he needed and give him any assistance he needed going forward. Our son worked hard and had excellent assistance from the folks at Mathnasium. We highly recommend using the folks at mathnasium for whatever your math needs our. In our case it was to help our son catch up on the class that he skipped.
The Bettendorf center is staffed with people who take great pride in their teaching approach. The instruction is easy for my daughter to understand and is helping her grasp math concepts in different ways. Just excellent.

We went to Mathnasium seeking help for our son. He entered into his freshman year of high school after having very little to no Algebra in junior high and tested out of Algebra 1 into AP Algebra 2. We found that the missing foundation in Algebra was creating issues for him in trying to succeed in Algebra 2 and we want to fill in those missing pieces. The tutors at Mathnasium have been wonderful with helping him not only go back and learn the missing pieces but in helping him to stay caught up and moving forward in his Algebra 2. So far we are very appreciative of the service that Mathnasium offers and the willingness of the instructors to work with our son on whatever he needs at that moment.
Ethan has found a lot more confidence this year in math. His scores have gone up enough that he has been asked to take the test to do the Pre-Algebra course in 7th grade!
I had three sons in Mathnasium, all with different needs. They have all benefited positively from their work with the Mathnasium teachers. I have heard that their math courses are easier this semester, and they understand for the first time why they are doing certain exercises. They even didn't complain when the went their for hours each week during summer vacation! Very satisfied with our investment.
