My daughter's attitude towards math changed 100% in the short time she has been there. She actually enjoys math, wants to go and has more confidence.
It has only been 4 or 5 weeks and we have seen a huge improvement in my 14 year old sons confidence in math. Not only is he learning the core principals he is also improving in his grade 9 math at the same time. My son has been going for 1.5 hour sessions 4 times a week so he can learn those core principals and also spend that last 30 minutes reviewing his grade 9 work. My son went from essentially failing to a 65% on his last test...that is impressive after only 4 weeks. We are looking forward to continuing our relationship with Mathnasium. I am positive he will be hitting in the mid 80s before the end of this semester. The best part...he actually understands math.

2 things that make Mathnasium unique is: #1. You specialize in math ONLY. This allows a better focus on 1 subject and the improvement of that subject only. #2. Flat monthly pricing with unlimited visits to get help. This gives us as parents more flexibility and more opportunities to get our kids in more often for more help.

Instructors are pleasant while working with the children. They ask them questions to think about how to get the answer and reword if the child is stuck. They engage and in power the pupil so that they know the work and have a complete understanding.
So far my boys have had an excellent assessment of their skills and have begun to work on their workbooks. They were very ambivalent about doing math over the summer, but all 3 have expressed enjoyment in the experience and the look forward to going. It is too soon to see any improvement still, but the Mathnasium approach is sensible and accessible regardless of math skill or ability.
It works! The opportunity to work one on one with instructors who "have been there and done that" in grade 11 math has made a big difference to our son's confidence and abilities. He gets the questions he needs answered but can't because of the way high school math classes are organized. It certainly begs the question of why can't the schools offer this sort of teaching themselves.
We are new to Mathnasium but are pleased that our student is willing and happy to participate 3x per week. The atmosphere seems pleasant, professional and well organized. Any other feedback I would reserve for after we receive more feedback on how our student is progressing. She has completed about 6 weeks. I also appreciate that Mathnasium is willing to link with the school.
I have already recommended it! Mathnasium provides the type of practice that is not possible in school.
Cole is finally able to get the help he needs and is happy to go to Mathnasium. He feels better prepared for tests and less stressed about math class overall.
My son is very eager to come each day
Our son Jackson failed grade nine applied math last semester. He was very discouraged and wanted to give up but they offered him the chance to retake it in the second semester. He has had a personal tutor for a year and a half but we thought it's now or never and decided to sign him up.
It's been about a month of three times per week and he has now achieved marks of 77%, 80%, 83% on his last three tests, marks that were unheard of previously. Jackson is now beginning to say that math seems like it's getting easier and his confidence is building. We are very proud of him and we hope this will give him the confidence to handle math from here on in.

My daughter already likes math more
Connor dreaded doing Kumon and it was a constant struggle to help him complete work. This all changed with mathnasium. Connor looks forward to going and doing his work. He enjoys math and really appreciates the help of your instructors. We are so pleased with the program.
