2 things that make Mathnasium unique is: #1. You specialize in math ONLY. This allows a better focus on 1 subject and the improvement of that subject only. #2. Flat monthly pricing with unlimited visits to get help. This gives us as parents more flexibility and more opportunities to get our kids in more often for more help.

my kids are really enjoying the experience and their confidence in their math skills are improving. Would LOVE it if you could extend evening hours...its a scramble to get them there on time. Also, the boys and I would like to request that you put a "No idling" sign outside the door. Our little environmentalist family gets so cross with the parents that sit in their idling vehicle for the hour of math. Just a suggestion :-)
Instructors are pleasant while working with the children. They ask them questions to think about how to get the answer and reword if the child is stuck. They engage and in power the pupil so that they know the work and have a complete understanding.
So far my boys have had an excellent assessment of their skills and have begun to work on their workbooks. They were very ambivalent about doing math over the summer, but all 3 have expressed enjoyment in the experience and the look forward to going. It is too soon to see any improvement still, but the Mathnasium approach is sensible and accessible regardless of math skill or ability.

Our son was struggling in Math before but when he started going to Mathnasium
,his grades went up and earned an award in school:)
Our daughter enjoys coming to Mathnasium. We have seen great improvement in her math mark this semester and are very happy with her progress and positive attitude towards math. She failed grade 9 math last year (at the academic level) and is repeating it (but at the applied level) This year she has been achieving marks in the mid 80's. We are waiting for her report card to see her final grade but expect that it will remain about the same as at mid term.

Our son has always struggled with math and recently failed grade 9 math. He was offered the opportunity to take it again the following semester so we signed him up with Mathnasium. We could see the progression as his marks began to climb. He is now pulling in 80s and 90s o his tests and will have no trouble passing. I haven't heard him say he hates math in a long time.
My daughter Avery has been going to mathnasium for over a year. She continues to grow and become more confident with math.
Since coming to Mathnasium my son has continually improved in his ability. Scores on his math homework have continued to climb and we are amazed at the problems that he can solve in his head. His confidence level in his work has also climbed, he is enjoying math more. He even got an A+ which is a big thing for him and us. Mathnasium truly is a great place 🙂
It works! The opportunity to work one on one with instructors who "have been there and done that" in grade 11 math has made a big difference to our son's confidence and abilities. He gets the questions he needs answered but can't because of the way high school math classes are organized. It certainly begs the question of why can't the schools offer this sort of teaching themselves.
A remarkably efficient approach with respect to establishing mathematical comprehension. During the course of attending Mathnasium for eight months, our son has managed thus far to increase his overall math grade by twenty percent. The administration and staff have been exemplary as well ( it has been a pleasure to have dealt with them ). A positive experience.
We are new to Mathnasium but are pleased that our student is willing and happy to participate 3x per week. The atmosphere seems pleasant, professional and well organized. Any other feedback I would reserve for after we receive more feedback on how our student is progressing. She has completed about 6 weeks. I also appreciate that Mathnasium is willing to link with the school.
