I was looking for a safe and caring place for my kids, a place where the staff had material and subject knowledge to support children in their learning journey. I found all of those qualities at Mathnasium! My kids come home excited after spending an hour doing math, how great is that!

Our son has just started going 3 times a week and is enjoying the program. He has noticeably improved in his 6th grade math class. He told me just this week that he was able to resolve a problem that others in the class weren’t because of how Mathnasium had taught him to work out and think about math problems. Thank you!
Our only issue is with the speed of the scheduling website.
Other than that we are very happy with our kid's progress!

My very skeptical kid, upon leaving his first Mathnasium session, described it as "fun!" He asks regularly on his own initiative to schedule sessions and it warms my heart to see him finding joy in doing math. Not only that but he's developed a ritual of going to Mathnasium before his baseball games and is convinced it helps him focus and play better. Thanks, Mathnasium of McLean!
I wish I would have made the decision to join Mathnasium earlier. I never thought my son would love it as much as he does!
My daughter has really enjoyed gaining confidence in math. She likes setting the goals for the number of sheets she will complete during her lesson time and the stamp cards to earn rewards.

It took my daughter one class to fall in love with Mathnasium. The instructors are nice and friendly and have a great sense of humor. They have made learning math a great joy.
So far so good but we've only been with you for about 1 month. My son is 6 years old and loves coming to mathnasium. He's always super excited about his class. We're keeping it at 2 per week and I hope his enthusiasm will not wane as time progresses. We haven't met with a staff member yet to see exactly what he's been working on in class and the progress hes made. That remains to be seen....

There have been many visible improvements with the staffing and overall calmness at the center since my last review. Both Robert and Roy are very responsive and were aware of changes that needed to be made. I speak with both regularly, and I have expressed that anything above a 3 or 4 student to 1 teacher ratio is not worth my money or time. At that point, I would just hire a private tutor. The recent staff hiring has made a drastic improvement in my children's success at the center.
It has been good for my high schooler but I wish I could make him come in a little more!
It is a great place to learn math.
Our kids are loving mathnasium and are happy to go each week. I would say the only comment I have is maybe the need to open another location in the McLean/North Arlington area as this one can get very crowded.
I feel like Robert really understands each kids skills and abilities and knows exactly what they need. He is also very approachable and the kids feel very comfortable around him!!!
My child’s confidence in maths has improved as well as his school grades. He is able to understand topics that he has previously struggled with.
