My daughter enjoys her lessons at mathinasium, the coaches are patient with their approach. Overall she enjoyed coming to mathinasium and loves the theme they follow - candy day, wear the t-shirt, lucky draw and winning a prize! Small things but a huge motivator-:)

A couple of short months and we have already seen a dramatic improvement in our son's mental math.
One of my kids loves going. But my older child des not because he has to do rudimentary work that he finds very boring. I am concerned it is turning him off math. That said, this has been an exceptional program for my younger son.

This experience has been wonderful! My daughter loves going to the center. The instructors are great--very personable and patient. They present the work in ways my daughter can understand. And her grades in math have gone up tremendously, from barely passing to As and Bs. Maggie now looks forward to math class. Not only does she feel confident about what's going on, she is able to contribute to class and usually is ahead of the other students. It is so great to have your kid come home saying that she is so pleased with her tests and math scores. We've gone from a kid who hated math to a kid who is really beginning to enjoy it.
