Mathnasium has greatly helped my child to feel challenged by providing enrichment through the content based on skill rather than doing drills on topics they’ve already mastered as well as teaching test taking strategies on timing and solving through foundational concepts.
The director and instructors there are experts in math who also enjoy working with kids. This makes the experience for both student and the parent something to look forward to each session and instills trust in the process.
The program pricing, scheduling, and communication with the center is focused on how to best help families. It is a phenomenal team of highly engaged people who care about their students. I highly recommend Mathnasium at Southwest Minneapolis for students at all levels of learning in their math journey.

After COVID my daughter was having trouble mastering basic mathematical concepts, which prevented her from performing well in her math courses in middle school. Steady tutoring through Mathnasium really turned the situation around and she is now thriving in honors math in high school.

Everyone at the Chanhassen Mathnasium has been incredible! Gary and Riley (and others but I can't remember their names) go above and beyond to understand my daughter and adjust strategies to fit her individual needs with ADHD/Autism. I've seen their ability to connect deeply with kids and figure out what motivates them to do their best. This team is AMAZING at what they do, and it certainly is a challenging job!!
Our son really enjoys going to Mathnasium over the past two years. They make it fun and engaging and keep him motivated. He has progressed significantly since starting.

We are so greatful for Mathnasium and the help it has provided our daughter. It has helped not only with her math skills, but also her confidence and attitude towards school. Love Gary! My kids have had a positive experience and enjoy all the incentives. I appreciate Gary’s enthusiasm and think that really rubs off on the kids. They like the other people that work there too. The experience has been positive and, while I wish it was more hands on and less worksheets, it is serving them well.

We have had an amazing experience with Mathnasium of St. Paul. Before attending Mathnasium our son was not doing well in math. Since attending Mathnasium, he has improved in math and his grade is much better. He also needed extra help so one of the teachers at Mathnasium made him a binder full of exercises to get him ready for high school math last year.
Our child has been going to the MG center for 5 years. We started b/c he was a bit behind during covid, but loved numbers. My goal was to have a child who didn't despise math. A district change, a learning disability discovered, a switch to homeschooling, and he continues to love going. He's seen a shift in teachers and directors, but their commitment to his learning has never wavered. MG Mathnasium eliminates the stress of helping him with his skills, practicing them in different ways to master them, and being around supportive adults who love teaching. I see this as an investment in my child's confidence and growth as a human. Bravo to the MG Mathnasium!
Mathnasium is a great place for kids to gain confidence! My 5 year old has really shown improvement with his counting and number sense. He is excited every time he gets to work on his math!
