The teachers are amazing! My daughter was struggling with Math and was failing her Algebra class. Her grade went from an I to a C+ in less than 1 month! They were able to explain things in a way that she could understand and retain. The owner Kimberly is very professional and responds very quickly. Mathnasium has given my son confidence in math. The teachers are encouraging. The way math is taught today isn’t the same as it was when we were in school. Mathnasium is knowledgeable about current methods which eases the frustration gap between parents and student. Mathnasium is very flexible. If you need to add a session because of an upcoming test, they work with you. They want your child to succeed. My son attends his sessions with enthusiasm 😃
One thing I believe would be very helpful for parents and guardians is to have an easy way to get a progress report on the things they are learning, such as online access like most schools have to check our children's current grades.

My daughters have been attending Mathnasium for over 5 years now and their math skills and love for math has improved beyond words! I can’t say enough about how wonderful, caring, and accommodating the staff and teachers are (especially when you have an ever changing schedule!). My youngest has been scoring higher than she needs to on her exams and when my oldest was struggling on her exams, Mr. Kevin made sure he met with her teacher to help figure out how to help her best. I don’t know of anyone else who would go out of their way to do that besides a parent! I am so thankful we found Mathnasium. They wholeheartedly care about the success of all of their students. It’s truly been one of the best decisions I ever made for my kids.

Our daughter has had great success with support from Mathnasium. We have signed up on and off through the years when extra support was needed and have always been pleased with the support from the staff here. The help with some homework problems, the teaching methods, tips and tricks have helped tremendously.

Attending zoom session twice per week have really developed my 7th grader’s own confidence. Once a struggling math student, my child is a solid A student. I highly recommend Mathnasium and the Birmingham center specifically. The center makes sure your child is placed with an instructor compatible with your child’s learning needs
