My daughter was having a hard time with math & Mathnasium has really helped her. Now that she is in highschool math is getting hard & her teacher "doesn't explain it very well" to where she understands. I don't think she'd get by w out the math tutoring. I do think she needs to work more on math at home bc she's still having trouble on tests... She says she forgets what she's learned. She needs to take what her tutor has showed her & practice it & them I think she'll be successful.
Our 8 year old daughter (Mila) has been enrolled in Mathnasium for about 4 months in total. She completes her homework onsite and this allows her to better keep up in Math at school. Mila always seems to have fun at Mathnasium...she's in a better mood when she leaves than when she arrives there, which is amazing after spending 1 hour doing Math! I was referred by a friend and I took a demo session. My kid founded it very interesting and helpful. So we decided to enroll and she likes it a lot and attends all the sessions sincerely.
It has been so wonderful to see Maple’s progress with math in a different and fun environment. I wish it was available when I was her age! Sometimes it just takes a different approach or way to look at solving math problems to finally get it!
