My daughter went from being a grade level behind at the beginning of 8th grade to earning the highest grade out af all the 8th grade class...however tied with a girl who was in honors who was also tutored at mathnasium! Needless to say, we decided to make sure her skills were strong going into high school and decided to make our middle daughter's life a little easier going into 7th grade in September.
My son is a very reluctant learner. He is very smart, but when it comes to school, he puts in little effort. He literally begs me to go to classes at Mathnasium. If he masters a concept, they move him on. There is no busy work to make the teacher look good. It's all about what my son needs to learn. The incentives are a miracle...my son works for fidget spinner, cheese balls, and really just being recognized for his strengths. I am very thankful for Mathnasium. They ignited a love of learning in my son that I haven't seen in a long time. I am extremely grateful!

Use of pencil and paper for learning as opposed to use of electronics was a big plus for us. It facilitated my chid into using her own problem solving skills to learn, solve and understand the mathematical concepts. As a result, she developed a deeper understanding and confidence for the material which led to an improved math grade at school.

My son has been going for a few weeks and is finding it very helpful. He is comfortable with his instructor and enjoys going each week.

My twin sons have been coming to Mathnasium since first grade. Mathnasium has been able to keep them continuously challenged, learning and very motivated. The staff have been excellent and truly understand the very different needs of each of my sons. Mathnasium is the perfect place for either a child struggling with math or one who excels and is bored in school.

Mackenzie fought me about going to mathnasium but after all the help she's gotten with her homework and developing the skills that were lacking....she is happy to go. Since her grades have skyrocketed, as well as her confidence in her math skills I thought we would discontinue a month ago but she didn't want to stop tutoring!!

All is well. My daughter often informs me though, when she does not understand a new concept. The teacher can not spend enough time with her to grasp the concept. Also, I wish they could correspondwith the material that she is learning at her school more frequently.
