Do you have a child that might be struggling in math? Do you feel like the parent when you are trying to show them and they just don't understand what your saying. We were those parents. Or maybe your problems may be different from us. Exhausted from work, multiple children with problems or don't know where to turn. Anyone can be a parent. Some animals eat their young. That does not make it right or wrong. If you want the best for your child (your legacy) I can tell you as a parent who has a senior in high school you found the right spot! I am not recommending all Mathnasium. I am recommending Jeremy and his staff at South Elgin. This process doesn't just happen overnight. He has put together a team of young individuals that not only will help your child ,but they have the patience to find out the underlying problems. You will find that your child will like to go to Mathnasium . They even play games and reward them for success. Your child really doesn't want to feel lost in their class. Whatever your situation, if you put in the work at home to create a relationship with Mathnasium with good communication on what happens in class and the evaluations given by the Mathnasium staff, they will help you put your child back on track.Our success has come from being involved with the school teachers, guidance counselor and Mathnasium! Let your children try to do the homework. Mathnasium can help them fix their problems and help them to understand what went wrong and how to fix it.Their system works. I also highly recommend keeping them in summer sessions. It's an hour and it will help them get ahead and transition from grade to grade..When in middle school and especially in high school and college graphing and problem solving play a role in not just math ,but science as well. If you fail one course you may fail both. I can say with our parenting choices and Mathnasium we have put our daughter in a successful plan for almost 8 years. She is a straight A student taking 7 classes All AP and Honors. She has been accepted to every college she has applied to and has a 3.857 gpa. As a senior she is in Honors Calculus and pursuing Biomedical Sciences in college soon. I am so proud and thankful for what we were able to provide to her and her success.The relationship we have built over the years with Jeremy and his staff! and Major shout-out to Andrew tutoring Calculus takes patience. Lastly, when my daughter started she couldn't understand spatial, graphing and even long versions of problem solving. Now look! These words above can't describe our thanks to their team! We are so proud of our daughter!!! Wishing you the best for all you do with these kids!

Jeremy is amazing! You can tell he truly cares about each and every student. My son truly enjoys going to his math classes twice a week!
The only negative to the South Elgin location is that is next to the gym which can be very loud and distracting.
The South Elgin branch is amazing and managed my Jeremy. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the program. Very helpful in my sons math growth and very appreciative of Jeremy and the staff at this location.

My son has a math learning disability, so math has been really difficult for him and he's fallen behind at school. He's only been going to Mathnasium for a few weeks, so I can't yet report on his progress, but he looks forward to going and has actually told me that he has fun! The key to a growth mindset is to be open to new knowledge and to enjoy the process of learning, so knowing that he now looks forward to learning math instead of dreading it is worth every penny!
I'm so glad to hear that he's enjoying his time here, and that he looks forward to coming! Who says math can't be fun? When you're having fun and enjoying your time, the learning process gets so much easier. I'm looking forward to getting to work with him more and seeing his math skills grow!

I think it is great that you have students teaching students. This helps with some of the middle school awkwardness and it seems like my daughter really likes working with people who seem a bit less intimidating to ask questions. At first she was hesitant to go and now she understands how important it is to keep these skills up over the summer and know that there are folks that can help her one on one. Wish we did this years ago!
My daughter looks forward to going to her sessions. The instructors do a good job keeping her interested and motivated!

Mike has a great crew over at Crystal Lake, IL Mathnasium! This environment works; and has been a wonderful experience for my children to succeed in. We've been customer's for a few years now!! The children have enjoyed the time and talents of this crew. Thank you for your attention to their needs! :) The increase in their self esteem in this environment has tremendously grown in their math/academic skills. We are grateful.
This was a great help for my 2nd grader. In a short amount of time they helped her confidence, and now she is doing math without hesitation. It was extremely helpful for her and got her back on track.
