My sophomore daughter has been going to this Mathnasium for about a year now. They have really helped her get a better foundation of mathematical concepts that have helped her in her schoolwork.
Math will never be her favorite subject, but the staff at Mathnasium know how to work well with ornery teenagers who don't want to be there. I would recommend this location and its services to anyone looking for math help for their student(s).
My daughter was struggling with math in school, and had no motivation to do homework at home, which resulted in her getting a failing grade.
After enrolling her at Mathnesium , she is doing better and now committed to doing her homework at home after getting help at the center.
We will definately recommend this program to others with the same problems. If we are not able to continue with the program, its because we are not able to afford it at this time as we just barely moved to Utah and yet to settle in with jobs.

We love SE Boise Mathnasium! Val and her team are fantastic. Our daughters love going to their sessions. Both girls used to hate math and would get frustrated and emotional when trying to learn a new math concept. Now, they are beaming with confidence. They know there is a chunkable, doable way forward in math, and they trust that the way will emerge with patience and practice. Math is now one of their favorite subjects, which is a HUGE testament to the effectiveness of Mathnasium. Our expectations have been exceeded by Val and her team and the tools they teach. We are grateful.
As a parent, I can only help my kids with what I know. Mathnasium have been able to pick up where we as parents can’t successfully get it across the finish line. Many teachers can only help to bridge the gap where they can, the last four years of the epidemic have left more of today’s children lagging in common educational requirements.

We started our two children Abigail and Eli with Mathnasium, when they were in 2nd grade and 5th grade.
With my engineering degree, I realized real quickly that our Utah public schools are not committed in developing these elementary student's math facts and skills to the level, required for advance engineering and science degrees.
Yes, the cost of tutoring is a little expensive, but the investment will more then pay for itself later on during their high school years, if your student is taking concurrent enrollment college class for their Associate's degree.
Both children have been with Mathnasium for a little over 7-years, not only do they help the student with their math homework, but these student will have completed pre-calculus by the time they graduate High School.
My 8 year old son just said to me, “I love math now and it’s because of Mathnasium!” so I realized I needed to leave a review. I am a homeschooling mom, and I decided to use Mathnasium in place of an at home math curriculum. He was saying before that he hated math. I think it was because I was having a hard time finding a fun and engaging but effective program to help me teach him math. All of that was solved when we found Mathnasium. The way that they gamify learning is genius, I’ve been surprised to see how motivating the star cards and prizes are to all of the kids. The learning plans are completely customized to each individual child, and they are willing to help make the learning plan more or less difficult depending on the individual child’s needs. The instructors are really patient, and I’ve noticed that they get to know the kids and know how much to help and push each individual kid. We really couldn’t be happier with our experience with Mathnasium.
I have 2 children that go to Mathnasium. They both have been going to Mathnasium for 6 years. Mathnasium is one of the best things we did for our kids. The tutors at Mathnasium are so helpful and patient with the kids there. Mathnasium has made math fun for my kids. Due to Mathnasium both of my kids our in advance math class's.

Mathnasium is fabulous! My daughter has only been going for a little over a month and her confidence alone has improved immensely. Not only is she starting to understand math concepts better, she’s willing to actually try more in school because she’s realizing she can learn math and do well at it. I’m already seeing improvements in her work at school. It’s a wonderful thing as a parent to see your child start to understand something that has been a hard thing for them before. She’s getting it!
Our son doesn’t complain about going to Mathnasium and he agrees his math skills have improved because of attending Mathnasium. That is what we were hoping for. 😊

My son is liking math. He gets excited on the days he has mathnasiam. He also loves telling me how he is doing. They make it exciting and the tutors are excited for the kids and the kids can see it. I have seen an improvement in his understanding of concepts. He is now asking for help from his school math teacher as well. He is getting more confidence.

Mathnasium has great tutors that help kids feel more confident about math . My kid tries to work so hard every time he goes there because they persuade kids to work so hard and they are patient and very well trained tutors to help kids with their needs. I love how they personalized the learning plan because every kid has a special need. I’m planning to enroll my other kid as well in a future!!
My child’s confidence in Math has grown so much! My kid enjoys going to Mathnasium and is excited to go! So far we have seen a pretty big improvement with her knowledge/ understanding as well.
We have been so impressed with our Mathnasium experience! Our son was at least 2 grades behind in math and over the course of a year he is nearly caught up with his class. Mathnasium helps students go back and catch concepts that they missed to help build a stronger math foundation.
Our grandaughter was behind in Math and I am glad to have a place for her to go to get her up to date by filling in the gaps she missed.
