When we initially took our daughter to Mathnasium for an assessment, she assessed at being mid 2nd grade level in early 3rd grade. Our daughter started going to Mathnasium 10 days a month in November 2024... From November to February, she is now doing early 4th grade math while still in 3rd grade. We've loved our experience here thus far!! The staff, the updates on what pages/problems are completed each visit, and the confidence this has brought our daughter in such a short time, has been incredible!! Her report card at school also shows her strengthened math skills with a high and exceeding academic mark for Math!! Also to be noted, our daughter is excited to attend each every class and looks forward to every sessions, sometimes asking for longer sessions!! We highly recommend Mathnasium and the staff at the incredible Via Montebello location in Carlsbad!!
I find Mathnasium has been flexible and adapts to our schedule as well as our children's needs. There are times we need help preparing for a test or to address some gaps. During the summer they help my kids avoid getting rusty by keeping up with their math. They also motivate the kids with fun prizes they can earn and the occasional party like Pie Day. The kids really look forward to it and it helps to make math fun.
Great instruction, great management, great value. Taken my middle schooler from failing to upper Bs and low As in four months. No complains 10/10 would recommend to a friend.
Such a lovely community - but also my kids are LOVING math, the instructors and also feel really confident in their school work. I thought we would only be here for a few months, and I see us here for much longer than that!

My son resisted going to Mathnasium but from the first time he went he absolutely loved it. As parents, we loved not having to fight over homework and their skills are improving rapidly.
When your child reminds you it’s time to go to math class you know they are doing something right to keep these kids engaged. The staff is pleasant and professional. The physical environment could be improved to be less sterile. I would suggest a warmer atmosphere either with use of wall decor or lighting.

Great place for kids to refine and advance their math skills. The instructors and management staff are kind and friendly and have always been helpful and available when we needed to reschedule classes or get feedback on our child's progress. Their daily summary emails are a great way to keep up with the sessions. We also love Pi Day and all the other fun activities they organize! We highly recommend this location.
Over the course of our time at Mathnasium, my child has gone from being more than 2 grade levels behind in math to an A student!
Excellent teachers, they made the subject easier to understand for my 5th grade kid.
