My daughter loves going to Mathnasium. I don't have beg or plead with her she goes willingly. I don't know what resonates with her but I am happy she is getting the help she needs. Her confidence is going up with her school work in general now that she and math are clicking. I no longer get emails from her teacher about lack of interest in math so that is a win in my book.

The staff is kind, helpful, and patient. At times there can be a lot of students and the instructors handle the busy times well.
My teen has gone from failing and hating maths to really enjoying it and understanding. They took him back through the basics and it has made all the difference. He's happy to go every week and never grumbles. We were only staying for the summer, but it's been so helpful we are keeping going through the academic year.

I am a small-group tutor at a private school in Portland, where I have been working with a student one-on-one in Math for about 1 1/2 years. She joined Mathnasiuim when she began working with me. Over time, she has spoken with me happily about Mathnasium, and has shown me several things she learned as a Mathnasium student. Mathnasium seems to me to excel in assessing just where a student is in their math journey and making a solid plan to help them learn the next skills step-by-step. The atmosphere on site is positive and comfortable for the students. Finally, Mathnasium does a good job of assessing students' progress and informing parents (and teachers, if parents wish) about the student's progress. I would recommend Mathnasium highly to any parent whose child is below grade level or overwhelmed in the classroom. This is a step-by-step program that is both highly organized and friendly; an excellent combination.
Love the convenience of the drop-in approach - love the regular updates with assessment information and progress towards targets - our son seems to be doing better with math in school so we are very pleased!

This has been a great experience for my 10yo daughter. She was struggling with math at school. Mathnasium helped her get past her frustrations and now she enjoys math so much more and is working on topics at a Mathnasium even more advanced than at school at this point. It was so helpful and also really enjoyable for her. Highly recommend
We love Mathnasium! Our son has learned and grown so much, and the communication is so impressive--clear, positive, and timely. The only reason why not 10 is the cost. The quality is worth it but it's out of reach for many who could benefit from it.
