I Corepower story begins with walking up Washington Avenue, to notice the big sign that said "YOGA one week free" . It walked in the doors and that was the beginning of the rest of my life. My first class was a C2 format, with Jaina Portwood. I knew that day this was a pivotal moment because I could feel my self, I could feel me. I took time to breathe, I felt the stretch, I felt the connection, and I enrolled in teacher training. Since that day they became an instructor with Corepower, I continue my education to learn more, so I can better serve- with the intention of creating positivity and encouraging- just as I felt when I walked in the door in 2095. I can't put into a short paragraph the awakening in my life, in my body and my mind and my soul as a result of walking through the doors that day. I will tell you that I am a stronger more sincere human being since that first yoga class in 2005. In the recent past I returned to CorePower Minneapolis, and just as it was the first day I walked in I was welcomed with warm smiles, happy hello, and incredible retail, LOL my life is good because I discovered CorePower, I mean what I say and I say what I mean. Much love!

CorePower Yoga - Downtown Minneapolis is my favorite studio to practice at! Everyone seems to have such positive energy that creates such a good atmosphere to practice yoga.

The facility is high quality, the instructors are knowledgable, the instructors teach to the students in the room (not a prearranged routine), and the classes are intense.

The yoga sculpt class - the instructors are energizing, positive, and keep me motivated. They always show modifications so you work at your ability, at the same time giving us the confidence to push and challenge ourselves. Love coming to yoga sculpt - I leave feeling like I had an awesome workout, along with feeling totally at peace. Thank you!!!

My girlfriends and I love a good "Ken at Ten" hot yoga class on Sunday mornings. He is just the BEST -- so encouraging and helpful. I would recommend his classes to anyone who is scared of yoga because of his patience and way of explaining the poses. His hands on adjustments are also exceptionally helpful and you feel like a participant in the adjusted movement rather than just the recipient of a teacher-student "correction".

Everyone was very welcoming. Since yesterday was my first class, I was very nervous and intimidated but I felt that everyone made me feel comfortable and strong for even getting through sculpt!

I think the teachers downtown are great, some of the best in the city. Also the large women's locker room is much nicer than some of the others. And he large studio is great to hold a lot of people.
