As we know each year gets more complicated in math and sometimes with each year math becomes more difficult to understand...even for us parents who werent taught the way the state teaches math nowadays. So far for the past 3 or 4 years sending my son to Mathnasium has been the difference between a C and an A in math on his report cards.
Math still presents its challenges away from Mathnasium but my son is much better equipped to handle it on his own when he is in the classroom.
He has way more confidence in himself to where he expects to make A's versus B's or C's.
My child went from not passing the STAAR test to acing it. AND she says she's understanding math better and the workers there are great.

I feel like my daughter is getting a lot out of her time at mathnasium. She enjoys working with the instructors and seems to stay mostly on task when there, which can be a struggle in school and home when doing homework.

Cristine had a hard time last year in Math bit after talking to Ma. Katie she made a study plan for Cristine to help her catch up. It really helped Cristine and end up the school year with an A in Math. And now that she’s in 9th grade she started strong with an A+. Hoping that it will continue and enjoy doing Math more.
