My children have had great experiences with Mathnasium, both as a tool to push themselves to get into more challenging middle school math classes, and when facing challenges in high school math classes. While Mathnasium is a big financial investment, I consider it totally worthwhile.
So accommodating to schedules and changes! Teachers are serious but also fun and have the gift of encouraging students when the work gets challenging!
After having 10 math tutoring sessions with Danny, my son took the ACT again and improved his math score by 6 points! (for an overall score of 30)

Very forthcoming with information regarding progress and plan. My daughter is really enjoying the tutoring sessions and instead of saying she hates math, she is now saying she might want to teach math when she grows up.
The staff is professional and accommodating with all the questions or clarifications you need as a student and parent. Scheduling is very easy. Changing the time and day when needed proves to be equally as easy. I appreciate the quick response to request made via email.
As for the tutoring, itself, my daughter went from struggling in Geometry to getting and maintaining a 96% average for each quarter. Hard work, effort and targeted tutoring was well worth the investment. My daughter looks forward to this time 3x per week. She has been concentrating on SAT prep in the summer and will continue tutoring during the year for PreCalc. In short, it’s worth the investment. A huge thank you to the instructors and staff.
Our experience with Mathnasium been wonderful. Despite the tutoring not being 1:1, the care feels so personalized. We have seen such a difference in our daughter in just one week of being on-site at the center. The owner is great at checking in and making us aware of her progress. I never thought I would see the day that she would be excited to do math! We love Mathnasium and we're so happy we made this decision for our daughter!

The Mathnasium Park Ridge Center team works very hard to keep the children engaged while holding them accountable. My son has responded well to their approach and comes out feeling good about what he accomplished. He is always ready to go on center days!
Our daughter is excited for her math sessions at Mathnasium. She is routinely disappointed she cannot go more often. She talks non-stop about her lessons. We are so pleased her enthusiasm has continued each week this summer. Our daughter has confidence in her ability to do math! Our daughter has worked with approximately four or so tutors, and she has enjoyed working with them all. The tutors and students appear engaged and focused. We plan to continue visiting Mathnasium during the upcoming school year. Getting caught up, and sustaining confidence, are priorities. The new location is so welcoming,, and beautiful. My daughter is very happy with the math classes and I am very surprised that she told me "mom I love math". She was struggling with math, but I can see that she is more into math and she ask me to enroll her for more classes. I am thankful with Marhnasium to helping my daughter to love and learn math.
