My daughter (10) began about a year ago. Completing math homework at home was a struggle, and it is not easy to motivate a child to spend time doing additional practice.
We enrolled at Mathnasium and math started becoming something she could do in her head. She was behind her class, but has since been in a high-percentile on MAP scores, in math and all other areas. It has made a world of difference for her to have a focused, dedicated space to think and support to make math fun.

Our two boys 12 and 8 have made great progress in math through their time at mathnasium. The beauty of the organization is that they make it fun and I would even dare to say "cool" to be good at math. It has been an excellent investment in our kids' futures as people who love and embrace math rather than being afraid of it or having a negative attitude towards it.

My daughter has been with Mathnasium for a year and best investment ever we gave it to her. She started first grade mid-spring with little knowledge of the basic math from shape, world problem and operations. Now, she's in second grade and the Math is a breeze. Her MAP score gained 30 points growth from the day she started Mathnasium and now. Her Math knowledge is at 2nd grade or above and she doesn't use her fingers when doing addition and subtraction. The teachers/staff and the owner are great and really invested to their students. Highly recommended to any parents looking for support of thier child. Of course, parents need to partner with Mathnasium's staff on thier child progress.
My daughter, Riley, is a student at Mathnasium in Mew Berlin! Math has always been a struggle for her, many times to the point of tears in the kitchen while struggling with homework! We knew we needed! Other places offer tutoring for all subjects in school. We needed to strictly go for math! I was skeptical of some other places because I didn’t want a history person trying to explain math if the math tutor was out sick! We met with Anu and she walked us through a step by step plan, had Riley take a placement test, and she sat with me and explained the results! Anu was very direct, that Riley had a lot of catching up to do! We decided to go for it! Happy to say that, even as Riley was 3 grades behind, she is catching up fast! Her confidence has increased 1000%! She is getting an A in math and has had no lower than a B since we started her at Mathnasium! Even though she is behind, gradelevel wise, she is able to bring her homework in and the staff helps her understand what she is currently learning while also helping her understand the things from lower grades that she struggled so much with! I cannot speak highly enough about the things Riley has been able to accomplish since we started her at Mathnasium! Thanks to Anu and her staff for all their assistance! It truly has made a huge difference!

Amy and her team have restored confidence in Izzy when it comes to her Math skills. They provide support, guidance and do a great job of providing tools she can use at school. She is much more excited to tackle new curriculum and isn’t afraid to ask questions. The time they take to set up learning plans and progress checks based on her individual successes as well as communicate with us as parents and her teacher's is why Mathnasium in Cary is a league of their own. In only a few weeks of instruction, my High School kid jumped from C to A in Geometry. Very pleased with the service!
Our three kids all spent years in Mathnasium with outstanding success. The center did a good job working to integrate what they were learning in school with their mathnasium curriculum. They made the learning fun, so our kids enjoyed going. I would highly recommend mathnasium to parents looking for enrichment for their kids.
Mathnasium has been great and has been a huge help in providing more of a challenge for our math loving 6th grader.
