The staff at Mathnasium Chesapeake is amazing. They truly wanted my child to succeed and were patient and understanding with her. I would HIGHLY recommend sending your child to Mathnasium Chesapeake if you want them to improve their math skills quickly in a caring environment.

My daughter was doing well in Math but expressed the desire to come to Mathnasium. Her reasoning is she wanted to understand what she was being taught when in school and maybe be a bit ahead. Also on the flip side she is desiring to have all Honors classes next year not just 2 so this is facilitating that need/want. She asked to go what child asks to do something like this. How could I say NO!

I often tell other parents about Mathnasium when I hear that their children are struggling in math. The tutors and curriculum teach math in a way that my chid understands.

Mathnasium has been a great experience for my daughter. She cares deeply about her grades. She has always been a straight "A" student and was upset that she was carrying a "B+" in math this semester. The speed that her honors class was being taught did not allow her to go over items she didn't quite grasp. Now, she is able to go over those items each day with her Mathnasium tutors. The most important thing is that it has reduced her stress, anxiety, and given her confidence in math. She now has a much better understanding and is consistently getting "A's" in math.

My daughter’s first year as a Freshman in 2016/2017 school year she did extremely well and passed her Math SOL! Well worth the money, just tad bit expensive, but they will try and work out a payment plan. I would highly recommend because they try to fill in the gaps your child may have and help them to love math!

We enjoyed our time and Trey is using the strategies he learned while there. Unfortunately we did not utilize all of our days because school started earlier for private schools. It would be great if the hours could be extended.

I am the biggest fan of Mathnasium Chesapeake! The staff is caring and my child has a love for math that I thought would never happen. My daughter always did "ok" in math but never truly excelled until she started attending Mathnasium of Chesapeake and now she is enrolled in advanced math in the sixth grade and can keep the pace!! I am truly amazed by the staff and would DEFINITELY recommend this program to anyone!!!

Excellent individual attention. Teachers went above and beyond to help Claire with college calculus. They even checked out the University's math department and reviewed the curriculum to help her prepare.

Mathnasium was a good experience for our daughter as she prepares to take the SAT. She liked the instructors and the work was targeted to her weaknesses.

Both of my children attended Mathnasium 2016/2017 school year (2016 summer). We are very pleased with the progress of my daughter, she did well in Algebra I within her first year in high school and passed her math SOL(9th grade)! My son had some struggles in 2016/2017 (7th grade). With the help of Mathnasium it aided in redirecting him to understanding the "Why" of the problems.
We plan on enrolling the kids for the 2017/18 school year! The cost is a little steep, but well worth the results.

My high school son is an honor student however he was getting frustrated with his math grades which were holding him back. He attended 2-3 times a week for 4 months and was able to increase his math grade by 2 full letter grades. My son will be enrolled once again this September. The staff was always focused and pleasant to the students.

The tutors at Mathnasium of Chesapeake are amazing. They MAKE the experience and are starting to feel like old friends. My daughter has improved her math skills and knowledge by an entire grade level in three months. She ALWAYS looks forward to going! I can't say enough good things about Mathnasium. The curriculum is tailored to each individual child and presented in easy to understand worksheets with incentives. As much as I love the curriculum, the people at Mathnasium are the key ingredient to success in this equation. Money VERY well spent!
