Both of my children have been enrolled at Mathnasium at some point, one who finished the curriculum, and have used it to get ahead and learn math concepts ahead of when they learned the topic at school. Pre-pandemic, we enjoyed the "gym-like" scheduling where the membership allowed drop in sessions. Post-pandemic, the scheduling is not as flexible, however, we appreciate the number of sessions that are available and the accommodations the staff make to ensure that my children are able to get the sessions they need. I would recommend Mathnasium for anyone who wants to get ahead, as well as for those who want to reinforce math topics learned at school.
My son has shown significant improvement in math. He enjoys going to Mathnasium because of the positive and friendly vibe and the prizes and the friendly teachers. I appreciate the fact that Mathnasium seems to focus on mastery and foundational work, not just racing ahead.
My daughter loves going to Mathnasium. She had straight A’s in middle school and was accepted at the academy but unfortunately due to the lockdown struggled with Algebra/Trig in the first few months of her Freshman year. I am grateful to everyone at Mathnasium Great Neck for providing an excellent learning plan that strengthened her basics. She is again so happy and confident and truly as they say knowledge is power. Our children began attending Mathnasium in July. Our goal was to ensure they had a good foundation in math and had no anxiety about learning math going forward. They have been attending about two times a week, have a very positive attitude, and look forward to going. I'm looking forward to seeing their progress report that should be coming soon.

My grandson Jackson has always hated schoolwork. I work with him a lot at home but it's always been a struggle. I was shocked when he told me he likes going to Mathnasium. The quiet environment and the attention he gets helps him learn in a different manner than he's use to. I try to help him but I'm not a teacher and he just doesn't seem to respond to me the way he does when he's at Mathnasium. I'm grateful there's a place like Mathnasium that can help children like my grandson who has always struggled to learn math.
We've had a great experience with Mathnasium of Midlothian, Virginia. Our girl was struggling with math prior to beginning tutoring and now she's got As and Bs and is thinking about moving to honors math next year.
