Singlehandedly, Mathnasium has allowed my Daughter to redicover her Love of Math. All three of our children had different skill sets in math and all of their different needs have been met at Mathnasium. The flexibility of group/private sessions and the combination of being able to work on school material as well as strengthen basics (and beyond) has been crucial to our kids' success in math. The warm, nurturing tutors and the idea that math is both fun and useful played a huge role in our kids' love of math. They joined math teams, compete regularly, and perform well on standardized tests as well as in school. Mathnasium gave them the confidence and skills they needed to feel excited about learning math. My son has maintained an extremely high level in math in a vigorous middle school and for that, we thank the team at Mathnasium for their help, creating a challenging program and for their constant availability.
Mathnasium has greatly increased my child's confidence at math, and she really enjoys her sessions. I just wish you were open on Fridays, when she gets out of school earlier and for more Sunday hours. Finding time during the school week is tough with all the other activities in the lineup.

My daughter enjoys her experience though the teachers sometimes get sloppy with explaining/helping/making sure a concept is completely understood from a school question. My daughter has thrived in school and part of the reason is the confidence she receives from the work she is doing at Mathnasium.

This has been an amazing experience for our 10 year old daughter who needed a bit of help in math. We've been doing this for a good 2-3 years now. But she's learned a ton and is able to grasp concepts that are new having built on a good foundation. It's also provided her with the confidence to tackle harder math problems. And has given her the ability to be part of a community of math-loving kids, removing any kind of stigma. We hope to continue should she continue on in the public school system here in NY.
Repetition and reports by topic are great! The staff members are professional with relevant backgrounds for helping kids improve their math skills.

My daughter Mahalia Mora was making her transition from High School to College with deficiencies in Math and geometry. Unfortunately her professors in High School didn't do a good job. I have recommended Mathnasium to many families. I know my daughter had greatly benefited from the program. We used one on one tutors for years. They only assisted with homework but never addressed the basic skills that the Mathnasium program focuses on.
The program of assessments followed by worksheets that address the skills that need to be worked on. Is a great process.
