I cannot express how happy I am that my son attended Mathnasium last year. My son will be attending new school this year. Students will come from varying schools with varying exposure based on which math program their school taught. My son’s new school requires summer math work be completed. After much procrastination due to the potential hard work, I was overwhelmed with joy when my son said, ‘Oh, I know how to do this. It has really filled in the gaps for Amelia! I like how it is scaffolded so that it is certain she understands and is capable before moving on. She likes math and she likes her Mathnasium classes. She has never once complained about a Mathnasium class. I only wish the schools would adopt a similar approach or that she could do Mathnasium instead of school math.
My son never complains about his sessions and that tells me he enjoys attending.
