Learning through doing, the structure is such that they are learning how to be competent, solid musicians with others, interactions, responsibility, all things that go into a positive team environment.
We love that this program is more hands on, listening with your ears, mimicking beats rather than starting out with a book and learning how to read the music before you can learn a song. That didn’t work for my daughter, the way SOR teaches, is working very well.
I like that the kids can learn as many instruments as they want. They learn to get on stage and have a great time doing it. And I love that SOR has become a second family!
I like that there is one place to go for lessons for any instrument, and that they have a professional administrative system to manage notifications, and payments, etc- like a school!
Everything! Great group of instructors and staff, great group of kids. It's really changed my son for the better. He runs home to the keyboard and guitar, instead of his tablet. So happy we joined the School of Rock family!
We love that the kids learn multiple instruments, and learn multiple songs! The instructors are great and really care about their students.

Kids program are fun and shows too
I love that the instructors give the kids the freedom to pick songs they like and want to work on. That made a huge difference to my 9yo that Barbie let her pick her songs......Chloe loves school of rock so far !
The teachers and style (performance based learning)
My daughter really enjoyed the summer camp. And the week's end performance by the campers was really good.

School of Rock has gone beyond our expectations. Even though, our son just started classes a month ago and has done one summer camp, we can appreciate how the program is not only engaging him, but also it is boosting his confidence. The owners, the staff, and the students work really hard to provide a healthy and safe environment in many different ways.
I was very impressed with the performances of the students given the time permitted to learn the material and all of the challenging conditions with equipment and such. I will definitely be furthering my child’s music tutoring with the School of Rock.
