Great teachers, friendly staff, flexible timing.
Wonderful teachers. Scheduling and re-scheduling is super simple. So is payment.
Also, SoR does a wonderful job of helping the student accomplish their individual goals, not imposing a pre-determined lesson plan on them (IE only learning classical music).
Rowan is enthusiastic about guitar lessons because of his teacher, Max. He really looks up to him!

Fully involved instruction- working within a band from the very start. Instructors who seem to work well with the kids. Building confidence with public performances as a primary goal. Schools are parent-free zones (both like and dislike this).

SOR gives the kids a sense of independence and a chance to show off their skills. The instructors are amazing. These kids work really hard and it’s amazing to see them perform just as well or even better than any professional band.
Drew is wonderful! Our son loves taking keyboard lessons with him. The staff members are also extremely professional and warm. Such a positive environment for these kids! We love it.

Rock 101 has gotten my child engaged with music in a way that individual music lessons haven’t. He loves the group setting and has a lot of fun with his new friends.
We love school of rock. Since my son joined this past year, we got to experience a couple different semesters of him playing with a band. The first experience was amazing, due to the fact it was a smaller group of kids. I think that made a unique & more intimate difference. The following season more kids enrolled, so understandably it was a different, but good experience as well.
The instructors are amazing and can pull off an awesome show wether it be 5 or 14 kids. However, the smaller band group, was an ideal experience. Kevin has gained so much and loves working with the instructors. Thank you!!

The experiences you give the kids in performance group that allow them to play live on stage in professional venues.
I love the community. Students from all over Nashville, different schools and grades, get to know each other. And I love the practical application of learning how to play in an ensemble.
for an adult and learning and doing what I want as a beginner is great!!! I just wanna play my favorite songs for fun and this is exactly what Im doing...am I a musician no but I made my living otherwise!! Mike is a great teacher!!!
We love School Of Rock because the teachers cater to what our daughter is interested in. For instance, the teachers will ask her what songs she likes and what type of music she likes so that she learns how to play the drums to those songs. Each teacher obviously makes sure that she learns the basic information and teachings through the School of Rock book but they also adapt it to meet her interest which we love.
