Our daughter is in Rookies and loves it! It’s engaging and introduces her to multiple instruments so she gets to see what she enjoys most. Not to mention, she comes home each week teaching us awesome rock history!
Can't say enough great things about School of Rock Hinsdale! The staff is so thoughtful about everything they do for the kids, and our daughter has THE BEST TIME every time she goes! The instructors have helped her try things she never thought she'd try (like singing) and they have brought her to a new level as a musician. Thank you for giving our daughter the music experience we were all hoping for her to have!

I think it provides a great sense of camaraderie, learning, collaboration, skill-building and creative thinking for a really challenging time of life. Transitioning from a kid to an adult is fraught with uncertainty, insecurity, peer acceptance and finding a place you belong. This environment provides that to help build kids up.
I'm in the adult program and I appreciate the opportunity to not only learn to play my instrument (drums) but the chance to play with others is an invaluable experience - plus it's fun!
One other note of feedback - the equipment i.e. sound/mixer board in the main rehearsal room (Naperville) could use some upgrades and additions. For example, when playing together in a group, the sound is very loud and becomes almost unintelligible. Equipment that would allow for the use of in-ear monitors would be very helpful and beneficial.
I love the School of Rock approach to teaching music. Getting students making music and performing with others so early in their education is game-changing.
My son is having the best time and learning so much in performance group. He looks forward to going to SOR every week.

Great environment where my daughter has been able to learn and perform all types of music! The staff at Naperville school of rock has been wonderful to work with through the years. Wish I had this when I was growing up!

We love School of Rock's class structure with both 1:1 dedicated time with an instructor and the opportunity to practice and perform as a group. It's so motivating for our kids to have a performance to look forward to at the end of each session.

I love how engaging it is for my son. He loves drums bc of SOR Hinsdale. The staff is communicative and very responsive and understanding. The shows are absolutely fantastic and it’s always so fun to bring family to watch the talent

Flexbility of scheduling
I love the method they use to teach music. They use great music. I appreciate how they learn with a private instructor and then are able to implement what they’ve learned with their band.
The instructors are great. I especially like the feedback and updates they provide. It helps the parents get involved and know what their kids are working on. The app is great as well. Helps the kids work on the exercises because sometimes (a lot of the time) they forget what they need to work on. My son also seems to like the band practices which are fun.
