Frisco School of Rock staff delivers the program consistently year after year. Every midseason/end of season show, I’m amazed to see the kids progress. Our son loves the program, he’s challenged, the performance group directors have a way of working with the students so they learn, contribute and have fun doing it and become better musicians. The themes each semester are always classic yet fresh. Sometimes the students get to play a song they’ve suggested which is cool too! On the lesson side, our son gets a lot out of each lesson. The whole drum staff is excellent. Our school GM and asst GM have done such a great job keeping us organized offer flexibility any time we need to make a change in lessons and give the best recommendations on programs. Frisco SOR staff and students are the best!
Diversity of exposure to music in rookies program.
School of Rock in Temecula is so dope. My son is playing all kinds of rock tunes and has made a lot of friends there. 10/10 would recommend
Gives my grandson an activity to be involved in and look forward to. He really is enjoying it and we are always so impressed at the concerts. Interacting with kids that have the same love for music is just like being in sports for kids that aren’t interested in sports. He has found his niche.
We started with SoR when our son was entering high school. He hadn't shown a ton of interest in sports over the years, but he did show some early musical ability. We started with some private lessons on guitar during the elementary years, but then decided to move to SoR.
Joining SoR not only enabled him to play in a band setting, but it gave him the experience of working and collaborating in a team environment. We've watched him grow and excel musically, (he made House Band for his last couple of years), as well as we were able to see him blossom into a mentor to some of the younger students.
We couldn't be more thankful to the SoR family for allowing us to participate in the program, and we will continue to always support and speak highly of SoR.

It's really fun, it's simple, and to me, it's like a magical experience every lesson and of course being in a band is always something to look forward to!
I really enjoy the conversations I have with the instructor about music theory, exercise suggestions, and musical artists. The only complaint I have is that I feel as if I don’t fit in because the other students are either young and have their own groups already, or slightly older than me.

This has been a huge boost to my grandson, Vincent. He is flourishing in a welcoming and accepting environment. And bonus, he loves playing the guitar.

My son loves the instructors and how pationate they are about music.
I love the inclusivity in the bands. My daughter started mid season and was welcomed in like she had been there the whole time. I love the breadth of music choices. And most of all, the communication with parents is wonderful.
I've already recommended it to people so hard to justify a lower than 10 response. My music teacher who is same as the band teacher, knows a lot, gives us just the right amount of direction and is very nice, band members are wonderful to play with. It always puts me in a good mood.
All staff are knowledgeable and helpful. The environment is very welcoming.
