I like the camaraderie of the adult performance group. All of the instructors seem more than competent. They also seem strongly committed to teaching and inspiring their students music (despite the fact that they don’t get paid nearly as much as they should). I’m enjoying my SOR Atlanta experience more than anything in a long time!
I have only a couple of couple of complaints:
1. Some of the equipment is in poor condition, and difficult if not impossible to use.
2. Many of the performance venues have been absolutely terrible. For example, the Stave Room is totally unsuitable for live music performances. The acoustics were BAD! The performers paid $150 each on top of tuition for a place to play. It is reasonable to expect a quality place to perform given the tuition and performance fees we pay.
Great opportunity to have my child interact with like interested kids, have fun, and progress in an instrument. Good times!

Great introduction to instruments
What I like is that, after years of unsuccessfully trying to get my son interested in music, a five day camp with you turned him around. He now listens to music and is excited to practice playing guitar.
The staff is great. My daughter absolutely loved her camp. I'd highly recommend if your child is into music

Fantastic and very patient teachers with great attitudes and incredible musical knowledge. Gives hope to folks like me who are just getting berated and makes it so fun to learn!
Students learn and play new instruments. They get a great confidence boost from performing live. Interacting with kids that have similar interests builds character and friendships. This is an amazing camp that our son looks forward to every year!

They learned so much so quickly and the group formed a bond. The teacher was great!
I was actually shocked at how quickly my daughter ramped up on her guitar playing skills when she had really never played much before starting her lessons. The techniques being used must be very engaging and exciting as this is one hobby she never wants to skip even when her schedule gets very busy and hectic.

My child had a fun introduction to various instruments and just overall has a great time at camp! Was excited to go every morning and when I picked him up he said time flew by.
The instructors and staff are awesome and create a great atmosphere. My son gets great instruction and loves going to rehearsal- his playing has improved by leaps and bounds. I recommend you to people all the time.
That it’s individualized to meet the student, but also progressive enough to get them to reach outside themselves, harness that full potential! Everyone there has music in their veins it seems to be quite an authentic little spot!
