The school of Rock in San Ramon is beyond good! It is everything a school should be. The teachers are not only very knowledgeable and passionate about music, they care deeply and know how to nurture the talent of each individual. Ian White has encouraged my son to write his own music and every time my son returns from one of his lessons I can see him walk out with more bounce and confidence in his footsteps. The front office staff has embraced my son with so much care and respect that not once has my son been anxious to step into the building. The opportunities for social interactions are many and positive. My son had the opportunity to play with other students this summer. The band was student led and the concert they put together was priceless. I highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a fun, professional, caring space where their child’s musical talent will be nurtured by kind, cool, professional and community oriented people.
We love the owners, Jora and Adam. They are organized, encouraging and great teachers. We love Gabs who helps out front and is always helpful, informative and welcoming. We love that our son is a part of music in a social way. He isn't involved in team sports, and this gives him a feeling of being a part of something. The teachers he's had have been so great - patient, relationship building, skilled and good at converting what they know to teaching young people. We love that he gets to play in real venues; it is also entertaining for friends and family to watch in these settings. We love the variety of music and the exposure he gets to different bands and types of music. We love SOR Plymouth!

The teachers. They really seem to care about the kids learning. They can see where your child is struggling and adjust classes to make sure its getting worked on to improve their skillset. Great job!
