This was my daughter's first time playing any sort of instrument and the School of Rock Camp was the perfect place to start! They created a fun and inspiring environment that has really brought out my daughters love of music. Thank you School of Rock!
The programs are very well planned and the children develop great confidence with the end of season concerts and stage performances. The teachers are very talented. The front staff is very friendly and flexible.

My daughter had a great time at her Rock 101 Camp. She had tons of fun and even learned to play a song on bass having never played before. She also belted out a song on vocals unlike she ever did before in her theater classes. She loved it so much we signed her up for lessons. I think the lessons along with the band rehearsals will really keep her motivated. She just absolutely loved the camp and is really excited about continuing with the school come September.
My son is loving his lessons, his teachers and the whole environment. This is the most engaged he's ever been in anything and I'm so grateful for SOR and so proud of him.

I AM SO GRATEFUL FOR THIS MUSIC SCHOOL. MY SON FEELS LIKE HE HAS A PLACE TO EXPRESS HIMSELF AND ALL THE INSTRUCTORS WORK WITH HIM ON HIS SKILL LEVEL. THE STAFF IS ON TIME AND ALWAYS BENDING TO HELP US HAVE THE PERFECT SCHEDULE. THIS IS A GREAT SCHOOL -HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Everything! The kids had the best time of their lives. They couldn't wait to go in every day. There was a good balance of social interaction and fun games with learning and rocking out.
The School of Rock community has made a HUGE difference in my teen’s life. My kid feels incredibly safe, supported, and seen at every lesson, band practice, and performance. The instructors are incredibly talented musicians, amazing teachers, and, most importantly, truly outstanding human beings. They have taught my kiddo so many valuable lessons about being part of a band (or really any team). The whole staff values hard work, practice, and, above all, support of one another. It is truly a special community and one that I feel so incredibly lucky to have found for my teen. I can’t say enough about School of Rock. The whole organization has been instrumental in my kid’s life and everyone there has taught my teen so many valuable life lessons.

My kid has a great time! The instructors (Noah and Carolyn) were laid back and fun with the kids. They seemed to get to know each kid pretty well in a short period. Excited for the performance today!

There is a brilliant balance of support and fun that School of Rock promotes. You guys provide an opportunity to grow in more than one way to musicians of all talents. I did the adult program, which is a beautiful intersection of instruction and freedom. For me, School of Rock was instrumental in building my confidence and immersing me into the community of live music. Bringing together musicians of all walks of life and ages to form a unified band is a powerful thing, and it has given me great confidence and eagerness to pursue music to a higher level. School of Rock has been an important stepping stone for me in my musical career, and I'm grateful for the people I've met and the experiences they've afforded me.

Great program. End of week concert and end of season concert we’re highlights. Sam enjoyed performing music with others. Unfortunate that we are in Halifax,would have seriously considered House Band otherwise.
