Music teachers/mentors who are industry experts, multi-talented individuals, who you can see that they absolutely love what they are doing, all under one roof. Since my daughter joined late last year, her growth has been remarkable. This powerhouse of a program employs a proven and winning combination: a weekly private lesson, a group rehearsal every week, and a quarterly live performance at a trendy venue. The experience is nothing short of amazing. What's not to love. The students stay engaged, excited, motivated and passionate about their music. They are constantly learning new tips and tricks and how to take their instrument to another new level (this is weekly!) Boredom is never an issue. And what I especially love is at the end of every quarterly show, the teachers/mentors showcase their own amazing talents.
My only regret is that we were introduced to School of Rock so late. At the end of this month, my daughter celebrating her one year anniversary at School of Rock! She has grown so much as an individual due to the group rehearsals, as well as knowledge of her own instrument.
So what do I like about School of Rock programs? Everything!

Walnut Creek School of Rock is a fantastic school for my Son. He truly looks forward to each lesson. And what is great is that each program is planned for each student so that they progress with their skill level and motivation. No push and no rush........just pure fun rock and roll.

Our student has grown tremendously as a musician during his time there. The instructors have ranged from very good to outstanding across the terms we have been there, and the model of lessons and rehearsals every week is keeping him sharp and focused.

Matt and the team do an excellent job in bringing out each student’s potential. Very positive atmosphere and all students are encouraged to reach their goals and more. The students are strongly encouraged to work as a team/band and to be supportive for one and another.
Instructors are highly seasoned professionals that encourage the students to excel in becoming the best musician that they can be in a very positive motivating manner.

Mostly I love the people at the Deptford NJ location. My daughter feels at ease there and love that it’s a creative enrichment for her.
I’ve been partaking in individual drum lessons and the adult band group which meets on Sundays, and I love every bit of it! The teaching on both ends are invaluable to me. I feel like I’ve grown so much with my skills drumming.
