We have only completed the trial but my child loved it! It was a fun environment and atmosphere.
It a good creative outlet for my nephew. Learning to play better and learning about music history is a great service to them and the development of his inner life. Thanks guys!!
I like that the Rookies Program is a bit of everything. They discuss the different aspects of music, plus introduce many different instruments.
Programs are modern, fun, engaging and relevant to today's rock-pop culture.
My son was recently given the opportunity to audition on broadway for the School of Rock musical. This would never have been an option one year ago when we were sitting in the audience watching the show, not even enrolled in the School of Rock, Fort Washington. In the past year, from my son's involvement in the school's performance-based programs, he has blossomed as a musician and a person. He has gained confidence; learned discipline; and experienced the benefits of teamwork, in a way he never had before with sports. His teachers support him, challenge him, and his peers push him to do things he never dreamed possible. Most recently, one of these things was to audition on Broadway! In just one year, our family has seen such incredible benefits from his participation at the school, and we look forward to many more, in the years to come.
It is a nice musical learning place for kid
Brad and the instructors are awesome; great musical development and also a terrific group of kids and parents; fantastic opportunities to play different kids of music and play in tons of different venues. Can't say enough positive things about the program. Try it!
I like the consistent feedback and communication with the parent, as well as the friendliness of the entire staff.
I like that if the songs are challenging that the instructors work with the participants to make sure they understand how to play their part.
Additionally, the instructors are positive, knowledgeable, and encouraging which enables the children to stay motivated, work hard, have fun, and not feel defeated or overwhelmed.
I feel safe leaving my kid for his lessons. I never have to worry about him not being cared for or treated with dignity and respect. I love that he is always learning something new and has close connections in his class. I enjoy the fact that his individual lessons help him to the degree that they do. The teachers at School of Rock are fun and future oriented. We love School of Rock.
I have already recommended the Grad School of Rock to other "older" friends like myself! I love the opportunity to meet older people who want to rock. It's cool to be able to play in a group with people and to practice for a real gig. I'm also enjoying learning songs from genres that are not typically what I listen to. Rock on GRAD SCHOOL OF ROCK!!
The teachers are the best! Besides learning to play their instruments, my kids have learned much about team work and being responsible members. These are lessons that will serve them for life.
My son loves it, always looks forward to going, and is really motivated! The concept is engaging, and well-suited to meet students' interests and needs. The teachers and staff are very friendly as well!
The fact that there is group lessons along with the private lessons.
The most important thing is that I love the learning environment. I also love the way my son has been receptive to Rock 101 and his first private lesson.
My son is in the Rookies class and loves the opportunity to try all different instruments. He enjoys his teacher and looks forward to going every week!
Quality instruction, extremely professional administration, fun, age-appropriate group sessions and atmosphere.
School of Rock has been fantastic for our daughter. It's hard to believe she's only been playing for 10 months! She is learning so much from her instructors, has made lots of friends who share her love of rock music, and has had the opportunity to perform in several really cool places already. She's also gaining an appreciation for many different types of music and bands (a 14 year old girl loving Led Zeppelin?!) Coming to SOR is a highlight of her week.
My 12 year old son loves the program. The song selections are fun and have broadened his musical tastes. He's learned so much and enjoys experimenting with the keyboard on his own as well. He's not a big sports player so this is a great way for him to learn about teamwork too.
That they have instructors that are talented musicians yet also patient and creative at teaching music to others.
