We love everything about School of Rock! The program, the format and the concept is brilliant at inspiring kids to learn to play an instrument (or many!) and how to play it well. And practicing? Since they must show up for rehearsal each week knowing their songs, daily practice is no longer a chore -- it's actually fun. The teachers and staff are also excellent educators, mentors and role models: the kids aspire to be as cool and talented as they are. Thanks, School of Rock, for making music such an incredible experience for our kids -- and for us parents!
The programs at School of Rock are like none other. I'm a student of the adult program and on the very first day of class, I realized that I had spent years being improperly trained. The kind, professional staff, and rocking atmosphere is a perfect environment to grow and excel at your on pace, with just enough push to take on challenges.
It is a great way for students to have an outlet and develop a talent outside of school.
We love the rock 101 program where each kid gets to perform with a band. The teachers enjoy what they are doing and do an amazing job in making kids learn and grow in music. The owners Toni and John are really nice people and are always willing to accommodate changes in plans like changing days or times of class, makeup lessons etc.
Kids are excited to play music.
Dynamic atmosphere with the songs changing regularly.
private lessons plus a group band practice is ideal to keep the children engaged and the teachers and staff are all great.
Miguel Ferreira Is an excellent instructor and mentor on guitar and he does drums as.well. We discussed goals.and my desire to have him to push me hard, I needed someone to teach and.help me on my accountability as well, I have enjoyed the journey so far and we have just begun,
teachers are great and very encouraging to the kids. easy for the kids to stay engaged
So easy to learn! Social activities
My son has a blast and it enriches his life! Teddi Eric Jim and the rest of the staff are awesome
Benjamin loves Ms Eve and his class. He looks forward to going every week and to explore different instruments. So far, he wants to be a drummer.
The band idea keeps the kids very interested as they learn, build confidence, and have fun at the same time.
They make learning fun and allow the kids to perform together as a band . That makes all the difference when keeping a child interested in their instrument.
The collaborative aspect and the way in which the instructor meets the child's where they're at based on their level fun upbeat exciting atmosphere
Overall: Relaxed but professional. You made our very shy (with new people) daughter feel right at home almost immediately. I like the curriculum that eases them into reading music. Also love that the students begin playing in a group from the beginning. We appreciate the administration who is quick to respond and very professional. Most importantly, our daughter is totally psyched to come to school of Rock every time she is scheduled to. She talks about it with "I can't wait to..." in every sentence. As someone who studied classical music for years as a kid, this is a joyful and rigourous music learning experience in which the wild side of our daughter is free to develop. In summary: Top notch and fun! Finally a shout out to our daughter's teacher Stu, who is awesome.
It's a fun way to learn an instrument. It's also an opportunity to make friends.
The continuous feedback that we receive weekly which allows us to know how our child is progressing at all times.
Enthusiasm, great instructors, great music selection
Friendly instructors with a fun approach
The confidence you gives your students is AMAZING!
