The variety of music the kids get to learn.
The kids are challenged to be better.
Teachers, especially Tommy, our daughter loves his teaching style and his ability to bring out the best in her.
The kids learn discipline which is a good life skill.
The program enables kids to empower themselves through music and come out of their shell
The teachers are positive and patient with the kids.
In the midst of my battle with cancer this year, our daughter found a home at School of Rock. Not did her musical ability grow exponentially, but she was rooted in a caring and accepting community during a very difficult time.
Joey is an amazing instructor! The opportunity to perform in front of others has been such a confidence booster for my daughter!
Great staff. Very organized. Run well. Nice, safe environment for the kids.
Your instructors relate to their students and find fun ways to learn the songs instead of just memorizing them
I love the combination of weekly one-on-one voice lessons and weekly full band rehearsals. It's exactly what I was after to get used to working with a band while also learning the fundamentals of singing. Plus, it's really exciting to be working up to a live performance of Pink Floyd tunes for a local venue!
My son looks forward to attending school of rock every week. He has been much happier and more confident since starting classes there!
Great opportunity to meet fun adult musicians and to learn new music. The gig at the end makes all of the hard work worthwhile.
The teachers are extremely talented themselves, and an added bonus is going to see them play local gigs in their own bands.
Fun times and hanging out with new friends and playing songs would love to play out live as a group more often
quality and flexibility
Band and group setting
James is a great instructor!
The instructors are very positive and encouraging. It's a safe space for students to strive and possibly fail. Great learning experience.
SOR needs to do a better job limiting the number of people in each group. Some of the sessions are far too large. They also need to set up a minimum proficiency level to get out of 101. Some of these kids can't play at all and are related to meaningless roles. They would learn faster by getting the opportunity to play easier songs in 101.
