My children always are happy and eager to tell me what they have learned. They have fun at Sylvan and its quite apparent that they are also learning a lot. The teaching methods are also quite creative! My younger son told me all about a number line he got to stand on that helped him learn how to add/subtract positive and negative integers. The quality of the instruction at Sylvan is very impressive!

Sylvan gave my daughter the confidence she needed to enjoy reading. I like that they started her below her reading level so she can gain that confidence and then slowly increased her difficulty so she was not overwhelmed. Katie loved all the teachers and was very happy to go there.
The friendly environment and my daughter is very happy there which is a huge help to get her excited about school. We have tried other places but this has been the most rewarding for her so far.

Sylvan really taks the time to get to know your child and what does or doesn't hold their interest. They take the time to listen to parents concerns and address them. They also evaluate the relationship and interaction between your child and different teachers and uses that pair your child with the teacher they feel most comfortbale with.

My son right now is taking an SAT preparation course ay Sylvan. He feels more confident and secure. He likes his tutors.
I like the no-nonsense approach to teaching the fundamentals. I like the assessment test and how it was used to determine where the weaknesses are. I liked the plan that was derived from the results of that test and then put in action to help my son strengthen his skills. My son has thoroughly enjoyed his experiences at Sylvan. The instructors are kind and motivating. We have recommended Sylvan to two of our friends so far.

You were able to begin tutoring our daughter the very day that we first called you. After her first session she was so happy that she understood the geometry concepts that had been confusing her. She had scored a 74 on a Geometry test the week we called Sylvan. On the next test a week after she began her tutoring sessions she scored a 94. There is no arguing with results.
