Cap Hill has great facilities including a practice room with mirrors on two walls that is helpful for those who want to see how their poses actually look which I find really helpful (eg is that knee actually stacked directly over the ankle). Right now there is a really strong group of teachers (joe B, Jay B, Jared, Bri K, Noel, Roger, Rachael, Pamela to name a few).
Instructors, the set up, the retail merch, the education and calm instructors provide, Cap hill has more classes than LQA.

I havn't worked out in over a year, with working from home and my weight has increased quite significantly over the past 12 months. I was super nervous to be going to my first class, mainly because I was convinced I wouldn't be able to do it and I would stand out in the room. I've never done any form of Yoga before. Honestly can say from the moment I got there the instructor put me at ease before I went into the room. I didn't have all the right equipment but the team helped me for the first session which was really kind. I did Yoga Sculpt which is upbeat which was great. Don't get me wrong I was following everyone else for the first class but picked it up and it was such a great workout with great music. No one cared when people stopped or did the wrong moves. Since my first class this week I plan to do 2-3 classes a week. Highly recommend for all levels and beginners don't be afraid to give it a go. I love it!

Pamela is so great! I am obsessed with her classes and who she is as a person. She is encouraging and uplifting. I am so excited she is now doing classes at Capitol Hill.

The variety of teachers and classes is great. I like the format. I’ve been going to CPY across the country since 2006 and it’s nice to have a place to count on.
Corepower makes yoga accessible, fun and inspiring. While each class maintains core fundamentals, each instructor puts a unique spin on the experience. I LOVE CPY!

I enjoy the classes, the instructors are very friendly and encouraging, and the facility is very clean. My one change request would be that it would be so wonderful to alter the schedule slightly so that either the 5:15 class or 6:30 class is sculpt instead of C2. 4:00 is too early for people who work regularly scheduled jobs, and 7:45 is too late for such a high intensity class when you’re trying to wind down for the evening. Thanks for all you do!!

Friendly and knowledgeable instructors, welcoming environment, clean facilities, wonderful fellow practitioners. I went to a very packed class (maybe 8” between the mats), yet I still felt like my personal space was respected and acknowledged. Thank you as always for a great experience!
All the staff is really friendly, great instructors, good variety of classes each day. I also appreciate that the bathrooms/showers and locker room area are pretty clean and well stocked.
It is in a great location that is super easy to walk to if you live in the area (like I do) and it's great that parking is validated in the garage for those that need it, and that it is easy and free to park on the street for the morning class (6am). I love this feature because I often take morning classes and get ready at the studio before heading straight to work during the week.
If I could make a request, it would be helpful to have hooks on the doors in each of the bathroom stalls.
My only complaint is about the cleanliness of the studio room. Sometimes I notice hair, other small pieces of things, sweat drops, sticky spots, etc. and that the floor is only occasionally swiffer wet-mopped after classes. It definitely makes me wonder about germs and sanitation and how often the straps and blocks are cleaned. That is a bit of a turn off. I used to go to a studio where they wet mopped the floor with hot, soapy water after every single class and regularly cleaned the blocks and straps that felt very clean.
Overall I'm quite happy practicing here and it helps to fit into my lifestyle and schedule SO well, with the number of classes offered and the location. Thank you CPY Capitol Hill!

Flexible classes
The instructor (Joe B) was amazing and helpful. He actually taught classes I used to attend many years ago before I moved and he remembered me and asked about my practice. He explained things in such an easy to understand way and was patient and calming.
I had heard that Core Power was being very diligent about safety with COVID, which is the main reason I have not been to a studio in a long time. I really appreciate that the studio was following safety protocols like actually enforcing wearing masks and checking vaccine status, but in a very respective and considerate way. I'm looking forward to going back and resuming a regular practice.
