Consistently great teachers, welcoming, clean environment

I began practicing yoga regularly during COVID and decided I’d explore local studios once we all began emerging.

I’ve tried all of them, from the more expensive boutique single-studios to larger franchises like Core Power. While I have a bias to non-chain non-corporate-type situations, I found myself returning to Core Power more often than the rest. Since I’ve attended the Mission Viejo studio most regularly, I’ve noted that they have a vibrant community, excellent teachers, and a variety of classes (and temperatures!) that, to me, far surpassed the rest.

The C2 classes are my hands-down favorites, as they afford gifted teachers (like Danica, Kennedi, Robin, Kayla–all of them, really) a chance to flex their creativity, and the students to meet the types of challenges that subvert routine.

I’ve also had the chance to attend classes in Encinitas, where I’m from and go often to visit my parents; Lake Forest; and Santa Barbara. I LOVE the convenience of being able to hop on my mat in other cities with my membership and a sense of the types of flows I can expect.

The amount of classes that are available. The amount of studios that are around the San Diego area. I like the staff at my Encinitas studio too!

Alisa is awesome!! And the facility is always super clean.

The free trial week allowed me to explore different classes and thus I was better prepared to make a decision about joining. Many other exercise related orgs only allow 1 free day.

So far all teachers and classes were very good.

Great instructors, clean, freindly staff.

Couple of suggestions:

1. Clean your filters in the studio rooms more often. I notice they are always full of dust.
2. Now that COVID is over, your instructors should start giving handson adjustments and personal instruction during class.
3. Please don't replace Sculpt classes with Power X. Sculpt is way better and aligned with Yoga. Power X is just a gym workout.

Varied classes and a lot of times to choose from. Teachers are great too. Love Alex!

Loren guided an amazing class. Her sequence was creative, challenging, and felt safe.
And to add to this wonderful experience, the live music was synchronized beautifully and made the class extra special!

I love the yoga sculpt classes! The heat, the music, the workouts are different but always intense.. and it’s fun!

Great classes

Location, parking, facility and of course the instructor. Sunset yoga in the west facing room is quite nice also.

I have already convinced my sister-in-law to sign up. I would have one complaint. I always do the 6am yoga classes, and it is hard when those classes are cancelled with no notification. In one week, there were no 6am yoga classes at least twice. The first time, they were cancelled in the app, but I didn't look at that until I was getting ready to walk out the door, too late to make another plan (different studio or sleep in). The second time, the whole studio was closed and dark at 6am, even though I was able to sign up for that class online in the morning. I wish there was a notification system I could sign up for if a class is going to be cancelled. I submitted this complaint to the corporate help email, but never heard back from them. Otherwise, I'm really enjoying CPY.

Friendly knowledgeable staff, clean studios and bathrooms, hot temperature is excellent

Having just started up Yoga after a long hiatus, I was so stoked with my sessions and all the staff at Core Power Encinitas. Jackie and Swin were wonderful. Very stoked to be back.

I love the variety of classes and instructors! Its always a fun challenging workout!

Jon’s sculpt class is great! I have really liked all of the classes I have taken. I would love more evening classes on the weekends since I work during the week.
