Friendly staff, challenging classes, and great music.
Instructors are all very friendly!
Excellent instruction. Lots of classes to go to. Colin 9:30 on Sunday is my favorite.
Also when traveling i can sometimes catch a class at another studio. Except Manhattan- where it’s extra expensive even w black tag. Oh NYC!
Consistently professional instruction, clean facility, convenient locations.
Lacie is a warm, welcoming studio manager (and a fantastic yoga teacher). This studio feels like coming home, like my local, neighborhood studio. I know others who have attended classes there feel like this as well. It’s such a lovely community.
Yes, there are teachers on the schedule I would prefer over others but that’s certainly true of every yoga studio I’ve visited for 20 years.
If I have to name one “improvement,” I would say I wish there were more HPF classes on the schedule - and that they got a LITTLE BIT hotter. :)
I've been meaning to write for awhile. I want you to know how great of a manager you have in Southeast Portland. Lacie Sautter first inspired & supported me in teacher training a year ago. She gave me the confidence to become the teacher I am today, something I never thought I could do.
I was so proud to see her become manager of my home studio, continually stepping up to challenges with patience & intelligence.
But I'm writing to give you a specific instance she recently supported me, above & beyond. It was Christmas Eve & I had the last class in NW. I had problems with the computer system & Lacie was kind enough to FaceTime me through the computer system. She saved me! She never complains but rises to the occasion.

Class was challenging but doable. The facility was comfortable and close to my house. The number and time of the classes was also great.

Top instructors always bring their very best, and that spirit lifts the entire cultural experience!
Instructors are very supportive and encouraging. The gym is always spotless and clean. I also think the variety of classes is ideal as people gain confidence and skill to move to more advanced classes.
The staff/teachers are all friendly, warm, and welcoming. No one is ever "too busy" to answer a question.
Fun and challenging!
I loved Danielle H.'s C2 class! It was exactly what I needed heading into the holidays. It was as beneficial for my body as it was for my mind. It was calm and challenging all at the same time. Danielle is a wonderful teacher. If only I could take that class every day!

Location is convenient for me
I love Corepower SE! I usually go during the day, and the classes are well-attended. Recently, I went at 6:15pm, and it was CRAZY busy! Wow. I wish the changing room had more space, but luckily there was enough room in the studio for everyone's mat. The only other thing is- the water pressure in the showers isn't strong enough to get my hair wet. I have curly hair, and I would love to wash it after yoga, but I would need more water pressure to actually wash it. I still give Corepower SE a 10 rating because you all are totally awesome and I hope to be able to attend yoga here forever! :)
