fun class with great music
Challenging classes. Helpful and friendly instructors that push yogis to set new limits
Everyone is super nice and easy going! I love it here :)
Lovely setting. Teachers are great, and each have a uniqueness to their flows. Everything about it works for me.
Had a great class with Maple yesterday!
Established yoga instructors:
Sarah K., Jonie, Colin, Amy, Jeremy, Charissa --- all of these instructors are still really bringing their A-game. New instructors should strive to be as articulate, engaging, friendly, and authentic.
Studio management is effective and efficient.
Molly D. has clearly been nailing it as an area/regional manager.
I think I mention this in every feedback survey--- that watercooler (and the milk crate that it is resting on) is an eyesore, and it's in a very odd location that causes congestion from studios to locker rooms.
Retail clothing: Men's tshirt that reads "Real Men Do Yoga"... it's 2018, with a lot of people who have very strong opinions on gender equality. I would've expected more thoughtfulness from such a progressive company.
Friendly staff, clean facility, excellent classes
I absolutely love this studio! The instructors are great and everyone makes you feel wanted with an extended kind hand. I especially appreciate the motivation from the outstanding mgr. Lisa and her excellent staff. Taking classes from Lisa, Alex Ko, Jessica, Kema, Amy, Crystal, Ailie Ke, really everyone, I am left feeling happier and absolutely healthier!
Love this location snd staff! My only suggestion would be its a little ripe smelling. Not sure what could be done , just wanted you to know
Everyone is so supportive and nice all the time. I always have an awesome work out.
Lindsey is incredible! I loved everything about her class: the music, the program, her cuing, her energy. It was fantastic. Highly recommend CPY and Lindsey!
Location(s), the instructors, class availability & diversity, music, hands-on help from instructors, membership option.
I like the selection of products for sale, incase I ever show up and need a pair of yoga pants-there are plenty of great brands to choose from. The service at CPY is outstanding. ALways a friendly smile to greet you and common needs are supplied for your use such as hair ties and blow dryer, deoderant spray, etc... all happily there for your use.
My favorite place in Portland!
So many classes to choose from! Also the staff is friendly and warm!
I love the way I feel afterwards. I will cleansed and balanced. I wish it was more affordable for drop in sessions.

Great Workout
Very friendly staff. Welcoming for beginners.
Excellent teachers, class schedule and clean facility.
I have to send a review about this amazing teacher: Cindy Ch teaches the Wednesday evening class 8:15-9:15, C2. Her classes are light-hearted, and have well-designed structure, that flow beautifully from simple sequence into deepening master postures. The succinct-ness of her ques keep good timing for breathe and movement, and there is clearly a strong understanding of anatomy that helps us practitioners gain new insight and connections of mind/body within the postures we are practicing. Her work-to-rest ratio for the class is always good, both the strength and flexibility of the class are always well-balanced, but also flowing into some unique and amazing restorative postures, which allows the body to recover and move to new depths of flexibility and restoration. A practice led by Cindy always has a walk-away of a smile on my face, my mind/body connection and understanding of postures is increased, and I feel mentally and physically rejuvenated.
I wish she taught a few more classes, as my schedule had changed and does not currently allow for me to attend the time slot of Wednesday evenings; she is an instructor I would seek out to attend her class if she were on the schedule more!
I can see her classes readily gaining a following, of practitioners who appreciate a light-spirited class, with good depth of anatomy and well structured seqencing of postures...and with our light-hearts we will learn to fly!
Amazing instructors and beautiful studio.
I want like to provide feedback about a recent instructor, Marisole (I am not sure how to spell the name and she does not show up on the schedule). She subbed the C2 class I took on 4/8 at 10am, my husband just got home from a C2 she subbed today, 4/10 at 5:30pm (he unknowly went as the schedule was not updated). My husband came home and confirmed my thoughts after the class. The class felt like a C1, the heat wasn't on, I watched as the temperature kept dropping during class. She also forgot the name of several poses and during a sequence of "one breath one movement" the pace was not quick enough. I barely broke a sweat in the class and my husband noted his heart rate never even went above 100 (he wears the apple watch). I have never complained and have been a member at CP several years. This was the first time I felt really disappointed after a class. I feel like she would be an appropriate C1 instructor.
I would like to say I LOVE the classes the following instructors provide- Rachel B, Sarah K, Alex Ko, Jonie, Collin, Molly, Katya, Lisa Cl and Jayme F.
Supportive & extremely helpful, thank you.
Wonderful guided practices, as well!
