Student Testimonials
The instructors dedications
The people are wonderful! The instructors are knowledgeable and supportive, and each person brings their own unique flavor to their class!
The only issue with the RV location is the flooding of the hallways (always seem damp) and the mildew smell in the locker rooms. The hallways (steps) seem to also be dirty and in need of vacuuming. Other than that my experience is wonderful...just don't feel comfortable walking around the studio without shoes on.
The instructors are great. Having been to a number of Corepower locations, I wish Roscoe Village and the other Chicago locations would hand out the lavender cloths at the end of class like the suburban locations. It is a small difference, but it is enough to make me go to yoga only when I am near a suburban location.
friendly, great instructors and clean, very clean studios and immaculate locker rooms.
Everyone there are really helpful, specially the Yoga teachers.
Core Power, has been such a great practice for mind, body and spirit, so pleased with my Roscoe village location! Classes and teachers are top notch, my favorites are HPF and Sculpt. Morning classes are my choice for practice! Couldn't be more pleased, thank You!
The times slots available, the instructors, the themed events or mantras in the classes, the space of the studio
The teachers have been amazing and I love the classes!
Like class schedules and recent facility improvements. Having recently had a baby, I appreciate the ability to freeze my membership for 9 months ,but think it should be allowed to freeze for 10 -12 due to time required postpartum to recover before returning to exercise.
This leads me to a suggestion - According to most OBGYNs, corepower's classes are not safe for pregnant women due to the heat (the heat can cause increase risk of spina bifida in the baby). I would not have known this if I hadn't told my OB what workouts I did and asked if it was safe. She said the only class safe is C1, but that not all the poses in yoga are safe during pregnancy (spinal twists, being on belly, and laying on back for too long). Now postpartum, I see pregnant women in C2, sculpt and other classes and cringe. I think it would be great if Corepower could do a couple things - 1. Have a sign or note in the studio about the risks / warning to pregnant women. 2. Require (if not already and it doesn't seem like it is) Corepower instructors to have minimum hours of prenatal yoga training - so they can help pregnant students modify poses safely and suggest alternatives and so that they can be aware and monitor heat levels when possible. It just seems like a lot of liability to not disclose the risks even though some women will still choose to practice regardless. In neighborhoods like Roscoe where young families / pregnant clients might be more concentrated it would be AWESOME if Corepower offered a prenatal class at least a couple times a week.
I have only been to this studio twice and have had great experiences with both teachers. Loved their challenging class formats and playlists. My only comment would be that the bathroom section of the locker room has a bit of a smell.
I love that you keep the workouts high energy, new and different each time. I get a great workout and don't lose interst.
Clean facilities, consistency with classes, good instructors
The quality of teaching is spot on. I love when instructors assist me with my form and alignment because, I want to perfect my technique. The staff also push us to grow stronger and go deeper into each pose to build strength as blossoming yogis. Everyone at the studio is always very friendly and respectful.
I like the instructors and time slots of weekend classes that work with my schedule.
The teachers at Roscoe are my favorite
Every instructor is extremely kind, welcoming and helpful! I always have an amazing experience here, and leave feeling accomplished, relaxed and detoxed. Thank you for everything!!
Katie D. and Lauren A. are amazing! I came to their special Beyonce/Jayz class with a few friends because they always make sculpt classes amazing. I've been trying out sculpt classes around my new work area and it's so hard to find great teachers like these two young ladies!
The variety and ample amount of classes at the studio is what attracted me to this studio!!!
Excellent space, helpful patient instructors!
The facility is clean and well organized. The instructors are well educated and helpful.
The teachers are able to help students of all levels have a good experience
The class m, instructors and ambiance. I would like to see more HPF options.
Elyse!!
I love how challenging the sculpt classes are!! I wish this studio did the lemon lavender towels at the end of class like the suburban core power studios do. I also love the instructors here!
Small studio, friendly staff
Instructors are great! And love the sense of community of this studio - definitely different than other studios I've been to before!
Good space and location. However a majority of the locker doors in the ladies locker room have broken hinges. I remember this at Old Town when it first opened too. Will that get fixed? Or at least find a new cabinet/hinge vendor!
This studio has a lot of C-2 classes, I live by the Lincoln Square location, but usually go to the Roscoe Village location due to the better availability of C-2's and the teachers that I like being there or at the Lakeview location.
Adorable clothes, very clean facility. well located
