Student Testimonials
I love the studio, normally practice in North Boulder but there are a couple of classes I try to attend in South Boulder.
My favorite instructors are Stephanie W (she is very wise, and passionate), Megan O (she has an amazing and stunning energy, her classes are very intense). When I want something easier really enjoy Hot Power Fusion from Devan or Bailey.
I liked going to a class that met my expectations and then taking a shower and leaving CP feeling like a new human
Core Power Yoga instructors are welcoming, experienced, and inspiring. I appreciate the diversity of instructors and their styles of teaching. No matter how I arrive on my mat I always feel fulfilled physically, mentally and spiritually. Thank you CPY! Steph W
I appreciate the variety of classes and times that they are available.
Yoga represents sacred community to me because the practice offers people the opportunity to vulnerably connect through integration of soma & spirit. It's astonishing to feel close to a class without having to speak; space, movement, rhythm, heat and emotion often foster powerful unity and transcendence. That is how I love to be with others and with myself.
:-)
My fave teachers at CorePower embrace members with unconditional acceptance, create containers of safety, exude abundant soul and demonstrate care & thoughtfulness with the flows they craft. They are remarkably skilled at guiding classes with gentleness, patience and respect. They model compassion for the body's needs for release & rest..
Simultaneously, they encourage students to challenge their edges and expand courageously: whether that means pushing toward physical resilience or locating more inward empowerment. These teachers have admirable awareness of trauma, old injuries, varied levels of experience and ego. In any given class, they demonstrate that awareness in their capacity to observe and flex with such a range of experiences in ways that feel tender, trustworthy and nonjudgmental. Students have agency over their own experiences, yet can trust teachers to lead them through uncertainty or doubt.
I'm humbled by the nuance of somatic work and how it reveals unconscious or numbed history. Yoga reunifies energy, emotion, spirit and sensation so beautifully.. I feel grateful for teachers who facilitate such a magical, needed process of embodiment.
It's also dope that there are a million CorePower classes all the time, all over the place, so I can go to yoga any time whenever forever and ever-- on bleak, blue days, on blissful days, on strong days and shaky days and even on days when I'm not sure who I am. I come to yoga to come home to self and to feel held in that journey.

Kita
Love the instrustors!
Great class. I like that a lot of classea are offered.
Everything, but MOSTLY, Sasha B's inspiring and energizing C2 flows! She is amazing. But I also love the studio: clean, hot-yoga-being HOT (yay!), respectful people, diverse community...all great!
Everything!
Friendly check in process and tremendous hot class. Liked the teacher and her languaging throughout the class. Love the studio.
The workouts and the teachers
The new management team has really made some upgrades in terms of in studio connection, community, cleanliness and class offerings. Thank you for your service to our Boulder community.
Joy is just that, really enjoy her spirit.
No vaccine or mask requirement. Thank you!!!!
There was actually men's yoga shorts first time I ever seen men clothes in any CorePower studio!!! They were on sale so I bought them badass!!!
I Love the community of CPY, exceptional members and teachers. The studios are clean and well run.
I was previously a member for around 9 years, prior to when Brandon "Baptist-ized" our flows to a cookie cutter model that was easily duplicable for franchise. I recently rejoined hoping that this newer model would have been improved on, and it has a little.
Yet unfortunately I find too many C2 classes that use the same rigid handful of postures with redundant, external focus on the teachers tedious words and thus blocking an internal connection, with no creativity nor freshness, and as such, finding it hard and at times unproductive to get to class.
I'm a certified yoga teacher and therapist, and a Chiropractor and structural integrationalist. I know that formula brought in to duplicate the CPY flow model is not sound....the sagittal plane dogma regrettably replaced the brilliant, creative, unique, fresh, enlivening and invigorating Vinyasana Flows that we enjoyed before. I feel this is the reason CPY has to continually market for new students, because the flows become intolerably repetitive and boring, certainly not C2 material.
It was suggested that I attend sculpt, which I thought I'd love, however it is the same few redundant poses except with weights, there is no balance of opposing muscle groups, and I personally can't bring myself to a class where I'm yelled at, and the music is randomly alternated between blasting and low, giving the new CPY message once again, that Motivation comes from Outside, from another source....which is the antithesis of yoga.
Yes there are Exceptional teachers who teach fresh flows, yet too many who simply rely on the "formula". I really hope CPY upscales and expands at least the C2 flows to incorporate some of the Thousands of asanas available, and move on from the formula that so quickly becomes unchallenging and redundant.
I seek only to improve on and restore the Amazing and fresh yoga CPY used to be. Thank You for considering. I'd be happy to consult with CPY to help this cause.
Concerning my last class at North from Tunda, It was novel, fresh, and Exceptional!!
My experience at CorePower Yoga in North Boulder was excellent.
The place is amazing and I could have a full experience. I really wish to come back soon.
Thanks,
Vinicius
Teacher was great
the heat & variety of classes & frequency of class options
Friendly staff good teacher/good location
Great teacher. She was one of the most professional instructors I've ever had and so good with verbal cues. The class was the fullest I have been in since the Pandemic started which is fine and testament to the teacher.
The teacher
I love the community the instructors create. They are SO welcoming and kind. Also, I normally go to N. Boulder & the studio is always clean and inviting.
I do wish the membership was more diverse. I think the relatively high membership keeps the studio from being more diverse.
Love CorePower Yoga!
Love the community, the teachers and the atmosphere
Love the studio! Kate O’Dowd was an amazing instructor! Loved her Britney Spears themed class
I enjoy knowing that I can get a great class no matter which location or which instructor I go to. There is always consistency in the quality of each class.
