Great workout! If I were to go consistently I would see major benefits physically and mentally. Unfortunately it’s out of my price range so I only go a couple times every few months.
I thought the class, class time and instructor was great. I wasn't a big fan of the music, except for the last song (piano/instrumentals). One locker door looked loose which may need to be adjusted with a screw driver. Overall, excellent! :)
I have been a member of the Domain studio since it opened in 2016. I had moved to Austin a few months prior and was struggling to find a yoga studio that really felt like a good fit for me. I live at the Domain and was initially hesitant to try CorePower because I had always practiced in a locally-owned studio. However, after taking a few classes from Francesca, Timea, and Amy I knew it was the place for me. Since that time, the Domain studio has remained an important component of my new beginning in Austin. This past Spring, Erin B (the studio manager) launched a revised schedule with a number of new instructors teaching the C2 classes. I avoided the classes, thinking that since the instructors had just graduated from YTT and extensions their classes wouldn't be challenging. However, the second week into the new schedule, a new teacher was teaching the only class I could attend that day. As Noelle guided me through practice, I couldn't believe she was a brand new teacher. Her cuing was direct and empowering, her sequences flowed beautifully and complemented each other very well, and she provided hands-on assists throughout practice. Over the course of the next week I took classes with two other new teachers - Carly and Kaila - and had the same experience. Noelle's and Kaila's classes became part of my weekly schedule and, since another schedule change, I always look forward when they are subbing.
I later found out that each new teacher was assigned a mentor who met with them regularly in addition to Erin providing additional mentoring and feedback. As a regular student, I can't tell you how much I appreciate these mentors and Erin taking the time to help the new instructors grow and develop their teaching style. Austin is saturated with yoga studios. But what sets the Domain studio apart is that the management team and instructors continue to illustrate so much dedication to the community - they continuously make adjustments that not only serve the teachers, but that also create a safe and inviting place for students to practice yoga.

Love CPY classes and instructors!! a tad pricy for classes/membership. Namaste!
The teachers are all very thorough and the facilities as super clean!
Good music, clean, favorite instructors at the triangle tho, very friendly instructors always ask me how I enjoyed class, some instructors give me hands on assistance, wish all of them would
Friendly accessibility
I have taken different classes and all teachers are great! And i like that lesson are a little different every time. And the schedule is good. I can take an earlier class or a later class, if i came late from work.
Nice schedule. I like the evening class.
I like to try several teachers too. They all have their own yoga style.
The candle light classes are awesome.
Great class. Challenging and fun!
I think that allowing students to teach on general audiences gives them great experiential learning beyond the classroom training. I saw students getting over their initial challenges of owning the room with conversation and lead with authority.
Great instructors and clean facility. Smells good.
The teachers & classes are incredible. Only reason I didn’t give it a 10 is because of the parking situation.
Loved every class I took here! Joel’s mantras had a lasting impact on me and my approach to life.
Very friendly and amazing environment.
Overall, many great teachers. Love the hot classes (provided the room is kept hot enough, sometimes it varies and can be too cool).
I like all of it; the people are incredibly welcoming and helpful!
The classes are hard, but when I am done I feel very accomplished.
CHRISTINA IS THE BEST!!!!!
Love the studio design, friendly and knowledgeable teachers and challenging classes.
I really enjoyed the Sunday afternoon class I took - the flow, the pace, the instructors guidance, etc. was all perfect to me. The Tuesday evening class wasn't as much my style, but I think that's personal preference and isn't meant as a condemnation of the instructor or the studio. Even though the Tuesday evening class was another "Core Power 2", it didn't follow the usual flow and was more focused on the Chakras. There were a lot of "unique" poses that felt unnecessary to me and my practice, but I still enjoyed the class and the teacher was kind. The rooms were heated a bit higher than what is probably appropriate (e.g. I looked at the thermostat during the Tuesday night class and it was at 101 degrees Fahrenheit with intense humidity), which could put newcomers off. The number of shower stalls and the locker room set-up was wonderful. Overall, I liked the studio and if we do end up moving to TX, it will likely become my go to.
Love the location and instructors. Would love to see it a little cleaner and would love to have some community events to make friends and mingle with like-minded people
This studio is here to support you and bring out your best strengths and abilities. Such a tight-knit, welcoming community. In the relatively short time that I've practiced here I already feel most at home and strongest with my practice. All the staff is solid and each class gets my body AND mind working!
Great staff, clean studio. Love the classes!
Lots of classes and times, easy to make it work into my schedule. I really enjoy the weekend mid morning special classes (live music, particularly like the sculpt/c2 hybrid class)
Some staff, great energy! Quality classes! Effective instructions, feel reset needed !
The facility is conveniently located, very clean and offers a variety of classes. I came out of class feeling rejuvenated and well.
Good classes, great teachers, and I like the openness of the studio.
Awesome teacher training class
I would recommend highly, of course with the caveat that CPY is not the perfect studio for everyone, but that it meets my needs and preferences.
I especially like teachers who provide details while guiding practice that explain what muscles are being used in a particular pose or movements building to an asana. More experienced teachers and/or those who have had education specific to the body besides yoga training tend to be considerably better at this. This helps me visualize the physical work going on in my body during class.
Monique was fantastic! I've never been to a class we're I've felt more welcome and it was incredible memorable :) A perfect blend of strengthening, focus, and skill. You could tell a lot of attendees were familiar and regulars. Afterwards Monique was very warm and took the time to speak to me and I appreciate it (as well as her amazing voice!).
Ginny was also a natural for being a new instructor. She kept up a nice pace to the class and her theme was consistently woven throughout the class.
I'm very impressed by how knowledgable and competent all the instructors at the Monarch have been so far.
