Almost, everything. On products, I wish there was a little more mens wear and I didn't have two very expensive children so I could afford some of the clothes. I really like the spiritual gangster line ;) their products have been known to make me dip into the kids college funds!
On services, well it's all because of the wonderful human beings! I must say I'm becoming rather fond of everyone out at the SLP location. Everyone is soooo cool, yet warm, welcoming and very in tune. A certain someone even got me to try sculpt. The one thing I feel I am missing is a more "in depth" understanding of the different poses and movements. I would like to see some specialized classes that focus in on form and technique to improve and elevate my practice. Don't mistake that for CPY SLP is anything short of wonderful.
I come to the Minnetonka studio just for the corecardio circuit class. It's my absolute favorite class to compliment my C2 yoga practice, which I do at my home studio (Maple Grove). CCC is one of the big reasons I have kept my membership at corepower--- the diversity in classes offered between CCC to C2 is great, especially now that other fitness programs have started up around the metro that are offering a wide range of class styles. I attend CCC between 2-4 days a week and have found that I enjoy it way better than sculpt. There is more bonding with classmates, I push myself harder, and I pick up heavier weights throughout class. I like that I know what exercises are in the 50 minutes of class so I know when to push harder or to pull back--- this helps me have better control over my workout. I don't find those things in sculpt. It's too hot-- and not always safe for hitting my peak aerobic capacity. I get lightheaded--- and don't push myself as hard. I have been doing CCC for the past year-- and I can tell an overall difference in my body. I am sad to see the number of classes offered for this dwindling around the metro, including at Minnetonka. I attended the class at Minnetonka the day before Thanksgiving and it was packed! I think it had to do with the fact students were off or in town and people had work off. I don't think it's that people don't like the class, but maybe the fact it's only offered in the middle of the day (which has it's pros and cons). I love the noon class, but even a 9 or 9:30 would be great to kick start the day and free up more of my afternoons for work. I wish more people would and could give this class a try--- and to see the benefits of this in addition to their yoga practice.
