Love the Yoga Sculpt Classes, especially Laura's class it's amazing and the music is so much fun. I wish the studio offered the yoga recovery classes at this location.
Only thing I am unhappy about is the $15 charge if you don't make it to a class. Almost canceled my membership over that one. I currently do not book classes ahead of time. I just walk in because who wants to get hit with a $15 charge when you are already paying almost $200/month to be a member. To be honest if there was a hot 8 yoga location in Torrance I would cancel my membership with CorePower because with Hot 8 there is no penalty if you do not make it to a class for members.
Other then that annoying policy that CorePower has I am happy with the service and classes.

I love that all of the teachers are consistent in each class. It’s a great workout and I feel that I’m pushing my body in a good way.

I saw results! Having no idea what I was walking into, my first class was very difficult for me. But then, I noticed it got easier at every ‘sculpt’ class I did. :)
And the staff were always very friendly and accommodating to me, making me feel like I belonged.
Everyone is there to focus on self betterment, which creates a super motivating environment!
I have always lined the slow-paced, slow-burn workout style.
I also love that I could go at my convenience with there being so many classes each day.

Mackenzie B. is now— BY FAR my favorite instructor. I have been going to CorePower for 10 years and more recently am trying to go at least 4 days a week. Her class was such a beautiful balance of meditation / feeling centered and a hard workout / feeling strong and powerful! I left her class feeling AMAZING! Can’t say enough positive things. She’s incredible.
The amount of classes offered
Loved the two classes I’ve taken so far. Very challenging and great space.
Ashly was absolutely amazing. I could have had my eyes closed the entire class and knew exactly what position and what to stretch etc. the temperature, music, instructions and inspiring comments were just perfect. Thank you for an amazing class.

Despite the challenges we have all faced over the past two years, CPY Torrance continues to be my sanctuary, my happy place. And that wasn't always the case -- due to times of poor management, especially pre-pandemic. The current management team is phenomenal! Racquel is a consummate professional. I can tell that she genuinely cares about the success of the studio. And that she is committed to providing the best yoga experience to each and every member. I'm also glad that Laura was recently promoted because she is a natural leader. She too cares deeply about the quality of her teaching (which is outstanding) and seems to pursue excellence in all that she does. I haven't had as much personal contact with Sofia, the other studio assistant. But she has been terrific whenever I see her. She also seems to care about the quality of her work, which I appreciate. The entire leadership team invites feedback and is willing to listen, which is important to long-time members like me. I really appreciate the CPY Torrance team. Thank you for providing a safe space to escape from the challenges life often throws our way.
CorePower is restoring my range of motion. After years of having stiff hips and being diagnosed with hip and spine degeneration, the orthopedic surgeon recommended a double hip replacement. I decided to try CorePower Yoga. I started in mid-January 2022 and, as of October 2022, I have regained so much more mobility and an immense reduction in my daily pain. My only regret is that I didn't join CorePower Yoga sooner!
I would like to see more sculpt classes at the Hermosa location, with good instructors.
I end up going to Manhattan Beach most of the time, even tho I live in Hermosa, because there are more sculpt classes with good instructors.
I am always greeted by a friendly face here. I feel safe putting my items in a locker while I’m in class and know that if I forget something that I need its always available to purchase quickly and easily with my card on my membership account. I can take any class worry free. And the teachers are great!
