The Victory Park studio is a great location near all the downtown and uptown office buildings, so it’s really convenient for yoga before work, as a work break, or as a post-work wind down. Although, from the street, parking looks like a problem, there are validated guest parking spots in the building’s parking garage. The staff and instructors are great, and the two studios are energetic and filled with a ton of natural light. On this visit I attended the 45 minute Yoga Sculpt, which is challenging and hard work even though it’s 15 minutes shorter than usual. I burned 400 calories and was a puddle of sweat at the end!

Absolutely love CorePower and the Henderson location!!! It’s a community, filled with great students and instructors. Kicks your butt, but you leave feeling strong and empowered.
I love the variety of courses led by amazing teachers! There is always a brand consistency amongst different teachers which makes it nice because you know you’re going to get a minimum standard of quality. There is also room for students to choose their favorite teacher who add their own style to the class. I truly appreciate Val and Jenn. They have taught me much!

A few ideas I’ve been meaning to share, unrelated to Jamie specifically,
1) I appreciate it when an instructor says things to help us do the poses to the max benefit. For example, when we do horse squat to share that we should try to straighten our back as if it’s against a wall, as much to the extent possible.
2) The rubber on the 8lb weights is separating from the weights, so I typically rummage through them to find the 4 that don’t have that problem! I think there are 2, maybe 4 sets which are pure metal with no rubber so I look for those. Also maybe more 8lb weights would be nice - seems like a popular weight
